Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Anduin Wrynn | World of Warcraft
This place is quite beautiful though, he will give it that. He can be found wandering through the market on Aerilon, looking at the items for sale, or crouching down to rest a hand against the glowing sidewalk, curiously wondering what causes it to glow like that, or walking past a statue that he stops in front of and looks at in slight confusion when it appears to be humming.
Re: Anduin Wrynn | World of Warcraft
"Everyone's said it's glowed like this for a long time now, and no one knows where it comes from."

She smiled and held out her hand in greeting. "Yayoi Kise. It's nice to meet you Anduin. I take by your clothing you're from a world not of Earth?"
no subject
He takes the offered hand and gives it a polite shake. "Nice to meet you too, Yayoi. I've never heard of a world called Earth before, I'm sorry. My world is called Azeroth. There... doesn't happen to be an easy way to get back to where we came from, is there?"
no subject
"Did you just arrive?" she asked curiously. "Get your keys, phone and what not?"

Yayoi moved up next to him and poked the screen. "You activate it here, and then you can search through the posts. It's kind of like a phone, giving you video which is visual recordings with voice and people on the other end, or text like this one, and I'm sure you can make a few private calls too."
"Like here." She pulled out her own and tapped it, sending him a text message which should blip up in a second.
welcome to the isles! :D

He pays attention as she explains how to work the device, nodding along in comprehension. It doesn't seem all that complicated to use, and he's used magical items to communicate visually with people across vast distances before. The video option sounds like it's something along the lines of that.
Text messaging isn't something he's quite experienced before though, and his eyes widen in quiet amazement when he gets the text she sends. "It sends a note through the device? And you just... use the buttons to write it out? What does the D on the end stand for...?"
no subject
"And the D? That's an emoticon, made from a colon punctuation mark and a D. That means a smiling face! See?"
And Yayoi made a great approximation of a :D expression in real life, which would be captured on Anduin's own since her line was open. "Pretty cool huh?"
no subject
"E...moti...con...?" He sounds the word out slowly to make sure he's pronouncing it right, glancing at Yayoi for confirmation that he's doing so before he looks back at the text, turning the device sideways. "Ah, I see it now," he says with a smile, and his smile turns into an amused grin when he brings the video back and sees Yayoi doing her best impression of the emoticon. "Very interesting." Her last words, though, make him look a bit confused, hefting the device a little bit. "Is it supposed to feel cool...?"
no subject
Yayoi giggled a little, shaking her head. "Cool means "amazing, spectacular" and the sort. It's modern slang. I have a friend who gets so flustered when he's called cool."
"But you know what's cool? Ice cream! Have you had any yet?"
no subject
"Ah, got it. That's... cool?" he half asks with a light smile, which turns into a light laugh when she brings up ice cream. "Not here, I haven't, but we have ice cream on Azeroth."
no subject
She nodded with a brilliant smile and laugh. "You're in for a treat. Just stay away from some of the weirder flavors. Like dirt. There is actually dirt ice cream and it's so gross."
no subject
Anduin's face scrunches up a bit when she mentions the dirt ice cream. "It's not actually made with dirt, is it? Why would someone do that?"
no subject
"I think it is, it's atrocious. I guess no one really had the idea that ice cream should be tasty."
no subject
He gives a little laugh. "Well, if anyone offers me dirt ice cream, I will kindly decline thanks to your warning. I think ice cream should always taste good too."
no subject
She grinned, nodding. "Same here. Ice cream is the best."

He pushed himself up with his free hand, hard blue eyes took in the deck he found himself on, and a few people that he didn't recognize. Definitely a far cry from the stone temple he'd just been in prior. He moved to his feet, hand tightening around the lantern he held, its glow having faded now.
Fortunately, it would appear that the ship he found himself on held a medic who showed up shortly after he'd gained his feet and ushered him to a room to deal with the arrow currently lodged in his chest. He would have to visit a clinic or find an alchemist to deal with the poison he knew, but at least the arrow had been dealt with and when he departed the ship it was with a bandage wrapped around his chest and directions to the nearest clinic from the docks along with some sort of device and a map.
Somehow it would appear he'd been transported in mid-fall from Stormheim to Medietas. At least there was one silver lining to this, the Soulcage had come with him, thus still foiling Sylvanas' plans. Hopefully both Crowley's could take over leading their people during his forced absence.
En route to the clinic, he paused as a certain blonde lad caught his attention. He was to young to be the boy he resembled, but the resemblance still made him alter his course enough to walk closer to him so he could ask the boy for his name and perhaps for new directions.

Damned Bronze dragons...
Obviously the Anduin that stood fretting before him was yet a prince and his father was no doubt worried over his absence. But first he should focus on the questions and his declining health. He couldn't--wouldn't give Anduin a full account of things right now, but he could perhaps simply things.
If he left out things, well, they weren't entirely important in relation to the questions that had been asked.
"I was putting a stop to a plot of the Banshee Queen, she took offense and shot me. Fortunately the ship I arrived on held a medic, they removed the arrow, but couldn't do anything for the poison it was laced with or the wound itself."

Even if Genn was wounded and Anduin was concerned about him, he was still filled with a sense of relief to see someone he recognized from home. "Is anyone else here with you...?" The words 'my father?' weren't said but were plainly written on his face. Anduin didn't think so because he couldn't imagine Varian leaving Genn's side if he was wounded and poisoned, but he wouldn't know for sure unless he asked.
no subject
"I was alone upon arriving on the ship, and I haven't seen anyone beyond you since I left it." Yes, he could read the unspoken query, but beyond the answer he'd already given, the less said concerning Varian the better. That way he wouldn't be forced to continue dancing around his fate and it gave him less chance to accidentally say something what would lead the prince to deducing it himself.
"How long have you been here? And the healer's place is said to be in that direction." He gestured in the proper direction, requesting without words that they both head that way, given he didn't want to let Anduin out of sight currently and the fact he did need to get to them before whatever poison was blackening the skin around the injury did worse than merely destroy the skin and render him weak.
