Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Zane Donovan - Eureka
This was one of the weirdest things to ever happen to Zane. Luckily one of his many many talents was keeping a level head. He was happy to have all of his limbs intact and took that as a sign that whatever he’s gotten himself into he can get himself out of. At least he’s not stuck in Eureka anymore, that’ll probably piss Carter and Lupo off. The mental image made Zane smile.
Taking long, confident, strides Zane made his way off the weird boat and onto the floating island. The lack of tech wasn’t much of a comfort but being handed a phone brought a devious glint to his eye. He flashed his charming boyish smile at the locals, got some information and then found a place where he could get to work.
He wasn’t even going to see if anyone was here, he had to get this damn tracking bracelet thing off his wrist.
He found a corner table at a local place and set to work. He pulled the back part of the phone off and carefully rewired the circuit. With everything in the right place he held it up to the bracelet on his wrist. The result created a spark and a clunk as the bracelet feel to the table. There was a red burn on his wrist but at least the tracker was off.
@ Video
[After procuring a new phone Zane decides it's time to address the masses. He can't say he hates it here but he needs something to fill his time. A charming smile flashes at those looking at their phones.]
So, what do you all do for fun around here?

She rolled her shoulders, reached up and pushed her long ponytail over her shoulder. No, this really wasn't Eureka. But how the hell had she got there? Fargo. He'd probably pushed or touched something he shouldn't have at GD - thinking that since he was in charge, he could do it. Ugh! She was going to break his little geeky fingers!
Jo was grumbling under her breath as she made her way through the city (town? whatever) - the items she'd been given tucked in her suit jacket pockets. Well at least here, she wouldn't have to deal with the fallout of accidentally telling Zane about everything when she'd thought he was a figment of her imag--
She froze, spotting Zane of all people through a window-- taking of a tracking device? What the hell?! She didn't even think past that, she just moved to the doors and pushed them open, charging inside. "Zane. What the-- What are you doing?!"
no subject
He stood up from his head and took a step towards Jo. "But I am happy to see you." His tone was clearly trying to egg her on. After all, he's done nothing wrong in this world.

"I never said it was your fault. If anyone's to blame, it's probably Fargo and his need to push buttons." Her eyes narrowed a bit and she stared at him unconvinced. She was still thinking of the Zane in her world and the fact that she'd been pretty much hallucinating him.
"Why? What did you do?"
no subject
Zane looked at Jo with an expectant stare. He'd thought she'd yell at him, hell he planned for it. He enjoyed getting under her skin if only to see a break in that serious expression of hers. His smug expression dropped to a frown.
"The hell is wrong with you? You're not going to arrest me again?" He didn't answer her question because he had already established that he hadn't done anything and it didn't feel important enough to repeat.
sorry for the late reply! recovering from ankle surgery!
"There's nothing wrong with me," Jo sighed and then rolled her shoulders. Right. She was use to weird and she was use to pretending she didn't give a damn about Zane. She could do it all again. Hell this probably wasn't even the Zane she'd just seen or the Zane from her original timeline.
"What do you remember last before coming here?"
You're all good!!! I'm excited to keep going
He wasn't from the alternate timeline but he'd only just arrived in Eureka and was still under probation. He didn't really want someone watching him while he was here, more so with this tech level. Zane wanted to see how far he could push those boundaries.
"So let me get this straight. We're the only two here?" His smile was getting a little wider as perverted thoughts came to mind.
<3!
She exhaled slowly, tipping her head back and staring up at the sky.
"I don't care what you do," she finally said, the tone of her voice purposely flat so she sounded like she didn't. "I'm not a deputy anymore so if anyone arrests you? It's going to be someone here, where ever here is."
Jo's head dropped back down and she swung her gaze back to him. That was not a good smile. "I don't know, I just got here... But don't worry, Zane. I always carry my gun so if anything happens, I can take care of it." Was she threatening him? Quite possibly yes.
no subject
Zane flashed her a smiled. "Not deputy huh? What have you been doing then? Did you get that sexy ass into any of those gifts I bought you?" He really wanted to see and knowing that she wasn't a deputy anymore, as disappointing as it was, meant that he could continue with his lewd flirting.
He held up his hands at her thinly veiled threat. "Whoa, don't worry about me Jo. I got this. You just worry about you. I'm sure I can find many things to get into while I'm here."
His eyes might have wandered over to a pretty young woman who just walked into the cafe.
no subject
"I'm head of security at GD," she informed him, her voice already getting that tone that should have been a warning but knowing Zane, he would just run with it like a dumbass. Why were smart people so incredibly dumb??? "And those all made their home in a dumpster. I don't wear shit like that." Which was a complete lie, she'd actually kept them and she was actually wearing some of what he'd bought right then but he didn't need to know that, ever.
Jo could feel her jealousy beginning to rear its ugly head and she quickly folded her arms before her and purposely looked anywhere but at the girl he was checking out. "I don't know why you think I'm worried about you. You're bound to make good friends with this place's law enforcement, so at least I know where to find you if I need anything."
no subject
"I'll see you around sexy."
