Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Why would I arrest you? I'm not a deputy any..." She trailed off and looked him over. This was weird, weirder than normal weird Eureka stuff. He wasn't reacting how she was use to and wasn't cracking jokes about Fargo.

"There's nothing wrong with me," Jo sighed and then rolled her shoulders. Right. She was use to weird and she was use to pretending she didn't give a damn about Zane. She could do it all again. Hell this probably wasn't even the Zane she'd just seen or the Zane from her original timeline.

"What do you remember last before coming here?"

Zane's eyebrows rose expectantly at her. "Seriously? You and sheriff-dipstick put that tracker on me so I would help you with your weird project. Look you can't keep me locked up here when we don't even know what these freaky floating islands are." He assumed that she was going to go on some crusade.

He wasn't from the alternate timeline but he'd only just arrived in Eureka and was still under probation. He didn't really want someone watching him while he was here, more so with this tech level. Zane wanted to see how far he could push those boundaries.

"So let me get this straight. We're the only two here?" His smile was getting a little wider as perverted thoughts came to mind.

Of course. Of course he apparently was from a time where she'd been Carter's deputy. Which meant that he didn't remember anything that had happened between them. That was good, at least that's what she was telling herself as she pushed all her hurt feelings down and out of the way.

She exhaled slowly, tipping her head back and staring up at the sky.

"I don't care what you do," she finally said, the tone of her voice purposely flat so she sounded like she didn't. "I'm not a deputy anymore so if anyone arrests you? It's going to be someone here, where ever here is."

Jo's head dropped back down and she swung her gaze back to him. That was not a good smile. "I don't know, I just got here... But don't worry, Zane. I always carry my gun so if anything happens, I can take care of it." Was she threatening him? Quite possibly yes.

"Ah, it's Medietas." He was able to figure out that much.

Zane flashed her a smiled. "Not deputy huh? What have you been doing then? Did you get that sexy ass into any of those gifts I bought you?" He really wanted to see and knowing that she wasn't a deputy anymore, as disappointing as it was, meant that he could continue with his lewd flirting.

He held up his hands at her thinly veiled threat. "Whoa, don't worry about me Jo. I got this. You just worry about you. I'm sure I can find many things to get into while I'm here."

His eyes might have wandered over to a pretty young woman who just walked into the cafe.

Ugh, she wanted to reach out and reintroduce her fist to his face. He was so beyond exasperating that ugh! He just really knew exactly what to say to get under her skin.

"I'm head of security at GD," she informed him, her voice already getting that tone that should have been a warning but knowing Zane, he would just run with it like a dumbass. Why were smart people so incredibly dumb??? "And those all made their home in a dumpster. I don't wear shit like that." Which was a complete lie, she'd actually kept them and she was actually wearing some of what he'd bought right then but he didn't need to know that, ever.

Jo could feel her jealousy beginning to rear its ugly head and she quickly folded her arms before her and purposely looked anywhere but at the girl he was checking out. "I don't know why you think I'm worried about you. You're bound to make good friends with this place's law enforcement, so at least I know where to find you if I need anything."

Zane laughed softly before he pulled his gaze back to Jo. "You have such little faith in me Jo. These guys aren't smart enough to catch up to me. Not like you." He teased as he rose from his seat. He passed her the cuffs before turning towards the door with his usual infuriating smirk.

"I'll see you around sexy."
