Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

I have. [He's just sneaky about it.] But meeting them would be a bad idea. I'm a wizard and with wizards come soulgazes. Which means I would see into your soul, and you would see into mine, and neither of us would ever be able to forget any detail of it, for the rest of our lives.

[He nodded to the empty pizza plate.] Well, then, when you are ready to go, we'll go.

[Freya knows what it's like to see something that you can't forget. It sucks and no one is pure enough to only have light in their soul.]

Yeah, that sounds like a bad idea.

[That and she's not comfortable with someone looking into her soul. There is too much she's hiding from the world to let someone so close.] I'm ready. [Freya quickly licks off each finger and then wipes her hand on a napkin. When she stands she makes sure that her backpack is comfortably seeded on her back and then pads behind Harry.]

Do you have a favorite place here? Unless this is it because it's pizza related. That's an acceptable answer.

Yes, well, that's why I don't do it. No offense, but I've got enough sights stuck in my memory. [Maybe someday. But she already has shown she has secrets and Harry is paranoid.]

I like the mountains. [He led the way to his outside and his staff became his bike once more, and he slid on, then grinned at her.]

Hop on, beautiful. Time to fly again.

None taken. [She can't really be offended by him not wanting to invade both of their souls. That sounds like a super rude thing to do.]

When his bike appears Freya slips behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist. Her head rests against his shoulder again.]

So we're taking the long way?

[It scares her a little but flying is awesome.]

Hmmm? Nope. The short way.

[This time, they zoomed down the road on the road for a bit, turning turns until he slowed again and pointed.] That is the candy shop.

[Freya frowns though the moment they are off her a smile creeps back over her face. She turns when he points to the store.]

It looks cute.

[She doesn't know how much she'll have to blow on candy but seeing the sweets in the window makes her want some.]

[He chuckled, and then leaned forward and the bike slowly rose, higher and higher. Slowly, though.] Now, we get to see the forests, and go to your home. Where are you assigned?

[The bike banked to the left and moved across the sky, where trees could be seen on the next island over.]

Assigned?

[Freya leans forward, her light gray eyes glancing at Harry's cheek. She can't really turn to look at him.]

Am I suppose to know that? I was told a bunch of stuff... [She has to think back to remember. She'd been excited to head off and only sort of listened.]

It should have been told to you, but it should also be on your map, and on your device. It you turn the device on and ask it where you are assigned, it will know.

[Harry had done this before. And her closeness made him grin. It didn't feel bad at all.

He cruised across the gap between islands, with below them, only air, and a distant shimmering that was cloudy to the eyes, blocking view of anything past it.]

[Freya fidgets behind Harry, keeping one arm wrapped around his waist while the other digs into her pocket. She pulls out the phone and then holds it up so that both her and Harry can read it.]

Let's see, there you go.

[Who says texting and driving is bad?]

I'm pretty good with maps... not so good with gps.

[Freya has a map, can read a map but she rarely kept things that needed a charge. They'd always lose their charge when she was in the middle of no where and it was to frustrating to keep carrying around.]

Aha! Yes, okay. [The bike surged forward a little, and they were soon curving over a large forested area, one thick enough they could not see the canopied floor.

Then he curved them around and aimed them forward and they were soon swooping downward.] Lucky for you, you are on this island...

Why would they dump me on the wrong island?

[That just seems silly.]

Is it far?

[When he turns she'll look to their left and then their right, trying to see what's around them.]

Huhn? What do you mean?

And nope, just a little ways away.

[He pointed ahead toward one section of the island.]

If they're assigning us housing would they really assign us a place really far away?

[It feels cumbersome.]

Everyone comes in at the central island, and lives on one of the outer islands.

[He grinned as they slowly descended, and he glanced aside at her.] The main island has markets, businesses, the docks, and the castle, only.

That's just mean.

[She pouts but in the end its a very small detail. She peers over Harry's shoulder as they descend.]

So this is my 'house'

[She'd use air quotes if she wasn't holding onto Harry. She's skeptic of the idea of a house and what she might find there. She doesn't expect to stick around but it wouldn't hurt to check out.]

[Harry blinked.] Why mean?

[The wheels touched down and he rolled up to her house.] Looks like.

[he pulled up in front and parked, then slid off, and held out a hand to her.] Want company, or no?

[Freya shrugs.]

It's a lot of walking.

[Not that it bothers her but for a regular person that seems like a hassle. She slips off the bike and inspects the house from the outside. After his question she turns towards him, placing her fingertips together.]

There isn't anything weird or murder-y in the house right?

[She's still on that train of thought.]

[Harry blinked.] It's not that far.

There shouldn't be. Most people find a few things from home waiting for them. I found my bike.

[That makes Freya tense.]

Um...everything I own is in my backpack. Is there always things from our home?

[Now she really doesn't want to go inside.]

I don't know. I've only heard people say so, but I have no idea what else would be there.

[he eyed her.] Want me to go in?

[Freya looks a little skittish as she glances between the house and Harry.]

Yes, you go in for me and tell me if there is anything in there that doesn't look like it belongs. [She steps to the side and ushers him with the wave of her arm.]

[ooc: I haven't decided the 4 things yet but ones going to be a family photo which will make her freak out.]

"Sure, I can do that." He started inward, peering around, and was inside for a few minutes, then peered out. "Not a lot here, but, ah, there is a photo..."

He brought it out slowly, holding it up for her to see.

[Freya froze when she sees the photo and promptly turns away from the house. Her fingers lace through the straps of her backpack tugging it close to her back.]

Yeah, if that's in there I'll opt out.

[There are things that legal belong to her but she'd left them standing alone in an abandoned house. She doesn't want to look at them now.]

I'll just find another place to crash. [She's done it before.]

Harry blinked.

"Freya? What's wrong?" He stepped closer, wondering what he had stepped into now.
