Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!
3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Henry Mills | CR-AU | OTA
He was given a communicator and a map and took his time looking around the docks just in case he saw someone he recognised. Last time he'd arrived in a place, his grandfather had been there. He could only hope one of his family members was also here. The other option, of course, was if someone recognised him because he'd been here before. After his time in Ruby City, he wouldn't discount any possibility.]

But today. Today she has noticed someone familiar in the swarming crowd. A dark-haired, very familiar someone, and she makes her way over to him and doesn't even think, or care, that he might feel differently about this reunion than he does.
He's getting the tightest hug she ever gave him.]
Henry?! Don't you ever leave me again, okay?
no subject
You know I wouldn't if I had the choice.
[He had no idea where he was, but he didn't care. He wasn't alone and that was all that mattered. He moved back in for another hug, letting his body tell his mind this was all real and not a catacombs dream. Only when he was sure, would he start his endless stream of questions.]
no subject
[She hugs him just as tightly the second time, her hand on the back of his head in a mirror of the gesture David keeps using with her. Her son is back here, and he's glad to see her, and nothing else matters right now.]
I know that none of us would leave if we had the choice.

[It was a possibility, after all. If this place, wherever they were, had his father then he would certainly say it was better than Storybrooke. He'd never see the man again there.]
no subject
[But she does have to stop and think about his question for a moment. Is this place better than home?] It's...different from home. There seem to be fewer people trying to kill us all.
[There's no point in hiding it. Henry knows what happens in Storybrooke.]
no subject
Fewer people is always better, I've found. [He nodded, a little too casually. Too many years of too many people trying to kill him. Not the best childhood but it was what he'd been given.]
Where exactly are we? [He had finally pulled away from her and looked around again before asking.]
no subject
[How to get home again.]
no subject
Cool. Have you been here long?
no subject
I'm not sure when that happened. I didn't realize it had been that long.
no subject
Why don't you show me around and we can catch up? I can't barely remember the last time I saw you.
[He took her hand in his, no longer then tiny one it had been when he had first done that, and headed for where he thought the exit of the dock was. She would correct him if need be.] Tell me everything, Mom.

How much coffee has the so called "welcome wagon" had? [As Violet made air quotes she was scanning the islands for any signs this was a Count Olaf trap. Even now she was not taking any chances he would show up from beyond to simply ruin her and her family.]
no subject
Too much by the look it. Never seen anyone so happy.

[Her observation was an interesting one.] Really? I hope that's a compliment. [Crazy for some people was normal for Henry so he didn't comment on that.]
no subject
It is, you just remind me a lot of Klaus but in all the good senses of that word. [Violet is trying to explain but at the same time she does miss him more than usual, Klaus was more like a best friend and partner in arms as well as her younger brother.]

The observant might notice a couple drawings on the page, one of the docks without boats offloading the new arrivals and one where they were disembarking. The latter was still in an obvious in-progress state. He noticed the young man as he seemed to carefully observe the docks and when the boy drew closer to Khadgar's position, the mage spoke up.
"You seem rather calm. Have you done this sort of thing before?" This sort of thing being the experience of getting kidnapped into another world without notice of said kidnapping until after the fact.
no subject
"Yes, as a matter of fact, I have." Being kidnapped had happened so often to Henry that he wasn't bothered by it unless his movement was considerably restricted. "No point in freaking out over something I can't change. Might as well make the most of it."
He stepped forward and held out his hand to the man. "I'm Henry."
no subject
"True enough." He set the quill aside to rest beside the ink and accepted the hand briefly. "Khadgar. If you have questions, I can try to answer them."
no subject
"I have many questions but I'll start with ones related to our current predicament." He quipped but paused before speaking. How to work them... "Do you know where we are in relationship to where you came from? Or why we're here?" He raised an eyebrow and waited for a response, examining Khadgar all the while.
no subject
"Unfortunately, we've yet to figure out the why of our arrivals here. I can however tell you we're on a different world. I don't know if Medietas is the name of this collection of islands, or the world. It might be both. I don't know where exactly we are in relation to Azeroth, or your world. I do know that there is something surrounding these islands that prevents us from leaving them in any manner. Be it to head down to the land below us or back to our own worlds."
no subject
"Maybe you could tell me about it one day. Once I've settled in and figured this place out."
no subject
For now, the young mage merely returned Henry's smile. "It was yes. I was born on that world. I'd be happy to tell you about it whenever you like. I take it that you already knew there was more worlds out there than just your own?"
He had only recently been made aware of such a thing, so it was still a relatively new concept to him.
no subject
"I learnt about another world apart from my own about four years ago. And I've visited two others before coming here. This one seems similar many respects to where I had previously been."
He turned and looked around, breathing in the air and looking at peace with his situation despite the uncertainty of it. After everything he'd been though, Medietas was just another adventure.
