Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"I can help with dat. Remy is good with maps." He examined the map, then nodded. "We're over here," and he tapped the map in a different place, then traced a way to the other place.

"We go dis way, we get you home jus' fine, okay?" Remy nodded. "Remy make sure you get home safe and sound."

"That's very kind of you," Augustine said with a wide smile. "I'd appreciate it a lot. I don't get out of my lab much these days, and all maps are computerized and rely on GPS and all other sorts of technology."

He pushed off from the railing, giving Remy a brilliant smile. "So your name is Remy, hmmm?"

"I can understand that. But you need to get a few non-tech skills. Else, things like this will bite you in the ass." Remy nodded, sticking out a hand. "Some call me Remy, too."

"You're almost certainly correct," Augustine agreed. He was in a strange new world, he needed to be prepared for it.

When Remy offered his hand Augustine shook it. He gave Remy a confident smile. "Would you like to have a drink when we get to my home? Assuming, of course, I have anything to drink."

Remy shook his hand, then nodded and led the way down the road. "Remy never turned down a drink with a new friend, before. Sure." He nodded as they walked.

"If not, I know a good place, mon ami."

"OH! You speak Kalosan?" Augustine said, feeling relief. He wasn't completely at sea, it seemed. "Merveilleux!" The relief was obvious in his posture and face. He was a whole different person when he was at ease.

"French. And Cajun, too." Remy chuckled. This guy obviously came from an alternate universe with a capital AU, but he was amusing.

"Come on, let's get you sorted."

Augustine nodded, heading off in the direction Remy had indicated. "French. Is that what it's called in your universe? It must be."

"Yes. Far as I can tell, you must come from one like, but not like, my own." He grinned and nodded down the way.

"Interesting. I'm not used to all this new stuff. Most research is centered around pokemon in my universe." Which was, he was beginning to realize, rather short sighted. "Of course, most people are trainers in my universe as well."

"Must be a rather peaceful universe. Sounds like maybe someone keeping your world together, behind the scenes." Here, professor, have the ideas of a professional skeptic and paranoiac.

Augustine shrugged. "Maybe Arceus. It would make sense."

"Who's Arceus?" As they walked along, Remy waved and tossed a coin at a vendor, then got two bottles of water back, and handed one to the other man.

"Possibly the first pokemon. It's incredibly powerful and supposedly very intelligent. Not many have seen it. I'm not one of the people who has. If anyone is keeping us safe, it's likely that pokemon."

He took the water and drank some, sighing in relief when he finished drinking. "Ah, that hit the spot. It's a lovely day, today. Is the weather here temperate?"

"Huhn. Sounds interesting." Remy didn't know about these things, but whatever. This guy's world was his world.

"Seems like, so far. I've only been here a little while."

"Fair enough," Augustine said cheerfully. "Are you always this helpful, or am I a special case?"

"Most people just need a little help, and Remy likes knowing what is going on." He nodded, not answering in specific.

It was a non-answer, but Augustine accepted it regardless. It wasn't his job to quiz strangers about their motives. "Well, Remy is being very helpful. Thank you."

"Glad to help." Remy smiled. 'Shouldn't be too long before we get you situated and you can start discovering your new world."

"Merci," Augustine said cheerfully. "Oh, here's the bridge!"

"You're welcome." Remy grinned. "Alright, Now which island are you assigned on again?"

Remy nodded, waiting.

Augustine blinked, then searched his memory. Finally he remembered, and told Remy with a laugh. "It's such a strange place!"

"It is, yeah, but we'll get you squared away." He led the way over the bridge and turned right, walking slow but surely through the park area.

"This place seems mostly calm, most of the time." Remy liked it that way.
