Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

She simply folded up, heavier than she looked but still tiny, and wound herself out of the way. In many ways it was better for her to see Remy rather than someone she'd been closer to, like Sooraya or David. It was easy to forget that they were all only barely adults, and unprepared for what had been dropped on them after the Decimation, and without any support at all the cracks were showing.

"I want to go home, and there's no way to leave."

"I'm sorry, Noriko." And he was. He was not fond of cages. If he'd had a choice, or a Door, maybe, leading back home, it would be one thing. But this? No. This was a mess. And he hated, even more, that she had been stuck here, alone.

So he held her, and stroked her hair and back, and he remembered how his Tante Mae had done the same for him after he had come back from the tunnels. Noriko wasn't a child, just as he hadn't been one then, and he hoped she could take the comfort he could give. He pressed a kiss to her hair, and held her, and prayed for worlds where people didn't get lost in the chaos and noise.

"Can' take you home, chere', but as long as I'm here, you don' have to be alone."

She felt better in Remy's lap than she had the entire time she'd been here, and slowly she calmed down, the trembling ceasing as she lifted her head.

"I'm glad you're here, Remy."

Remy gave her a genuine and gentle smile, and for once, forwent the smart ass comments. "Thanks, Noriko. Why don't we get somewhere a little more comfortable for hugging?" He smiled softly. "Think you can lead me somewhere like that?"

He raised an eyebrow. "Or you goin' to make me carry you dere, m'self?" He grinned as he teased her a little. He'd do it, for real if she needed it, and he hoped she knew that.

"I have a house." They gave her one, which surprised the fuck out of her on arrival; she hadn't done a whole lot to it short of houseplants and some removable wall decorations, but it was hers and she didn't have to share. Yet.

She wouldn't readily admit it but she missed having people around all the time, a thought which wasn't much lessened as she unwound from Remy and slid to her feet. "It's on another island, though."

Remy rose, and smiled. "I'd follow you anywhere." He grinned at her with a little teasing, but mostly warmth.

"Remy would love to see what you've done with the place. Maybe examine your engravings."

"It's all just paper," she said, hair swinging as she shook her head. The impermanence, specifically the intentional kinds, struck a home-like chord in her and made it easier for her to relax a little.

"Yeah? Still. I'd be glad to see it, if you are willing." He smirked. "And I likely can't match you for speed, but I'd gladly jog with you to there?"

Because he knew he had interrupted her, and he didn't want her hurting because of him. He'd done enough damage in his life.

"We can walk, it's fine," she said. "I don't necessarily need the same kind of cool-down as everyone else." She'd never quit moving if that were the case.

"Okay." Remy blinked. "I didn't mean the cool down, I meant... I probably interrupted your run, and didn't want to do that too much, if I could help it." Remy paid attention, most of the time.

But he gladly walked forward with her. "Lead on, chere'."
