How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

[Harry had just arrived himself, and he nodded to her across a video conection, smiling. ] Hello! They call me Harry. Nice to meet you.

We don't, any of us, really know how we got here, and as yet, no one has found a way to leave. I tried to get to the force fields around the islands, but I couldn't make it.

And the boats well, if you stow away in them, you pass out and wake back up in a starter house here.

[He grumbles, frustrated, and sighs.] I fear we may be trapped, until we can come up with a plan to somehow defeat this place.

[So even going back to the docks apparently wasn't an option. Hmm. Bree wasn't particularly fond of this place and what she'd learned about it thus far but she guessed that she would just have to do a little more experimentation. Wasn't that part of being an academic anyway? Testing and seeing what results you got?]

I guess you probably tried both of those and you're talking from experience? Because I like to learn by observation - so I'll avoid both of those, thanks.

Yeah. Sadly, those were all ideas I tried, and learned better from, the hard way. [He sighed, and rubbed his face.]

Even tried breaking into the palace, and woke up in my house again.

[He spread his hands and shook his head.] You're welcome. I like knowing how big the box I'm in is, when I'm being shut in.

Sounds like it's a smaller box than you want to be in, huh?

Well, yes. I mean, I can survive it... theoretically. I'm just not fond of prisons, of any kind. Even nice, airy gilded ones.

[He shrugs, a why lopsided smile on his face. ]

I'm definitely not a bird so I'm not looking to be put in a cage. Unfortunately, it looks like we're both birds right now.

Yes, ma'am. Sadly, this is the case.

Thus, I keep testing, carefully. And in the meantime, try to enjoy the cage's comforts, carefully.

[He flashes her a grin.] The place seems nice, as do most of the people.

Well it's good to know I'm not going to be hit over the head and kidnapped or anything. That's usually a pretty good endorsement for a place.

I've not seen anything like that so far, in any case.

You even get a certificate for a free ice cream sundae, but you have to accept it in person. [Subtle, Harry was not.]

[Bree laughed a little and gave him a Look.]

Oh? Why in person? Why can't I have someone accept my ice cream by proxy?

[He smirked at the Look. Yes, he had gotten those before.]

Because I don't give free ice cream to just anybody. Only redeemable in person at the ice cream shoppe.

[He shrugs.]

[Bree had to give it to him, it was a pretty decent pick up line, so far as those things went. Not bad. Not bad at all.]

Uh huh. How many toppings do I get?

Anything you can fit on, or in, it, you can have, if you want. [Yes, he was willing. Because, why not? A pick up was a pick up, and this one was fairly safe, being in a public area and all.]

You've got a deal, then. Just be warned - I can be really inventive when it comes to the length, depth and width of my ice cream sundaes.
