Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Chris didn't want to burst her bubble and point out that if the Elder--sorry, Archangel, couldn't leave, they probably couldn't either. But hey, maybe he was wrong.

"I thought about modifying the source vanquishing spell to give an extra power boost, maybe combining it with a spell to open a portal and a potion?" Chris ideas out there. He'd tried so many combinations, he couldn't keep track. But, he knew they had all failed. At least before. Maybe with Paige it would be different? Hey, he could be optimistic!

[halflighting]

"Might work," Paige agreed, beaming in approval. That out-of-the-box thinking was just the way she liked it. "There are other witches in this place, too. We can always pool our powers together in a pinch."

Sorry! I could have sworn I replied to this!

"Yeah, we could," Chris agreed warily. "I haven't exactly been advertising the witch part. Had a run in with some other angel-types. Let's just say we had a difference of opinion. I kind of thought that if angels couldn't play nice, witches might start throwing potions." But now he had backup. "But you''re right. We won't know unless we try."

[halflighting]

"Well, that's promising," Paige said with her usual dry sarcasm. "Want to tell me a little bit more about that?" She already had a feeling she wasn't going to like the details.

"Not really," Chris answered, rubbing his face with his hands. "I got pissed at an Archangel. Their world is a mess and it's full of monsters and they're killing innocents and the angels are Up There not doing anything about it! It just sucks." And they could explain the differences in their world mechanics and how Heaven was just as fucked up as the mortal world but that didn't make it right.

"And then he nearly choked me to death. It was real fun."

Yep, she figured she wasn't going to like this. Paige gave a weary shake of her head. The Charmed Ones didn't always do the "right" thing and had even tried walking away from their duties. But she could also understand Chris's anger. Paige had a feeling she might end up being the mediator between the two sides.

"We need to work on your people skills," she concluded, teasing him but feeling exasperated at the same time.

Paige would be a good mediator. Chris, after all, tended to have a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas. And he had angel issues, no matter what universe they were in.

"I didn't intend for it to go that way, Paige. How was I supposed to know these guys really, really, aren't pacifists! And they're just sitting there, letting mortals try and fix things." Chris gave a sigh and his shoulders slumped. " I guess it doesn't really matter. I mean, we're not there. They're not there."

To be fair, Chris wasn't the only member of their family to jump right in without thinking things over.

"It matters if they have that same attitude with innocents here," Paige decided. "We'll just keep doing our jobs as usual, okay? Whatever world we're in, we're still protectors of the innocent."
