Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

It doesn't look like Midgard. Or even Alfheim, but he hadn't been back there in so long that it could have looked exactly like this and he wouldn't know.

That wasn't even surprising, really, but most people at least knew the name.

It's Earth. One of the Nine Realms.

Sorry for the mild swear, it is a common word as well as a place name, for her people.

*Nine...? There are three. Terrielle, Kaleer, and Hell.*

He just shrugged at that. They're all right. It depends who you ask. There are nine I know of. Midgard, Asgard, Hel, Nidavellir, Jotunheim, Muspellheim, Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and Alfheim.

I've never been there. With any luck he'd never end up there, but it was hard to say, what with Magnus' adventures going the way they were.

It's...not a good place to be.

*Well, I mean... I wouldn't want to be there because I died, but I'm sure if I wound up there by accident, Saetan would be willing to help me get back home.* And murder whoever was responsible for sending her there in the first place, but she preferred not to think about that, really.

I don't think Hel herself is that nice.

"Who?" she asked. confused.

Sorry, Hel is a goddess too. He really should have known to clarify that.

*What... is a Goddess?* asked the woman who just spoke of Saetan as if he was someone she knew well enough to count on his aid...

That trips him up. Gods and goddesses were a given where he was from and trying to explain them was...tricky. At best. Where was he even supposed to start?

They're...powerful beings. Usually in myths. They create the worlds or watch over people or...something similar. There are a lot of them.

She almost thought he meant Witch, until he said that they create the worlds.... she presumed he meant realms? Maybe? *Dragons....?* That was as far back as her knowledge went. Did the Dragons create the realms, or just the Blood?

No. Those are different. He's not even sure where she would have gotten dragons out of that, but maybe their worlds really were that different. They usually look like people. Mostly.

So wishing she knew about Draca... lol

I... don't really know how else to explain it...

Cassie took a deep breath and considered. *Would knowing help us get home sooner, potentially?*

I don't know. Probably not. Knowing what they were wasn't as important as knowing they existed. It depends.

[lady_cassidy]

*Then perhaps you should explain it, if it might be important.*

She wasn't terribly dark, she usually conserved her power, because she only wore the Rose. But no one could spend four months in the Dark Court without picking up a few of Jaenelle's tricks. She sat back on an invisible stool that didn't exist, and hooked her feet on one of the "rungs". Cassie relaxed a bit, glad to be off her feet. Not safe to do this long, not while maintaining her shields, but... she needed some comfort, and short of a Garden, the familiar, or a sniffle book, this would have to do.

I don't know how else to... That was really the problem. How, exactly, does one explain something that was always just a given? It was almost like trying to explain why two plus two equaled four.

*Then... I suppose we can only hope it isn't needed....* She didn't like leaving it at that, though. *Do you think we could find a Dark Altar?*

A Dark Altar? I don't know what that is. But considering she didn't know what a goddess was, that wasn't exactly surprising.

*That is where Priestesses can open the gates between the realms...* Mother Night, she was in so much trouble....

Priestesses? The longer this went on, the more confusing it got. We can look, I suppose.
