Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"I'm not sure if that's true for me," Paige said with an amused smile, "but it's a nice thought. I'm just grumbling about the situation. The island's nice and all, but not really where I want to be right now."

[lady_cassidy]

She nodded. "My Court is going to be going out of their mind with worry, if I don't get back soon. They're going to think I was kidnapped or something...." Again. She sighed a bit.

[halflighting]

Her Court...? Paige's eyebrow lifted in curiosity. "Well, between your court and my sisters, if we were kidnapped, the guys behind it are gonna be in huge trouble."

[lady_cassidy]

"Works for me," she said with a small nod. "And yes, my sisters as well." Oh Darkness. When someone goes to the keep, and JAENELLE finds out she's gone missing....

Cassidy pales as she thinks over the consequences of that. Mother Night Mother Night Mother Night! HEr freckles are, after a moment, the only color on her face. Oooooooh Mother Night.....

"We.... need to figure out how to get home," she whispered.

[halflighting]

The other woman looked like Paige felt. "Hey." She reached out, trying to calm Cassidy down. "It's okay. We'll find a way." She wasn't sure how, exactly, but she was sure she could think up a spell or something.

[lady_cassidy]

She nodded. "I only wear the Rose, but whatever help I can be, consider my aid yours," she said, firmly. "Mother Night... if help comes from the outside, and a dark voice tells you to ride it, don't question it, just do it," she warned. "Honestly, if it takes us too long to get home, she might come here. I really hope she does not."

[halflighting]

"Uh, what?" Paige shook her head. "Sorry, you totally lost me there." And this was after studying various kinds of magic for a year, so this was really out of left field for her.

[lady_cassidy]

"Oh, sorry, Jaenelle. Ah... Witch." She forgot that Talon and the others had been so confused when she mentioned Jaenelle before. "The Queen of Ebon Askavi."

[halflighting]

Queen of what now? Paige assumed that meant something in the world Cassidy was from. She waved it off for now, knowing that explanations could come later. Hopefully when they were in air conditioning.

"The more witches the merrier. We can all combine our powers and find a way out of here."

[lady_cassidy]

She hesitated, wanting to correct the difference between a witch, and Witch, but decided against it. Hopefully Witch wouldn't be needed, and the two of them, and any other witches and Blood Males here could handle things. Hopefully not too many of them would be Warlord Princes, or they'd be shouting anytime they wanted to try ANYTHING of use.

So Cassidy just nodded. "Alright."

The two would probably have to sit down and hash out all the differences in their magic, but that could be saved for another time. At the moment, Paige was eager to see how this world affected said magic. She glanced around hoping to spot a place that looked private enough for what they needed.

"Over there maybe?" She pointed off away from the crowd.

[lady_cassidy]

She wasn't sure why they had to move, but perhaps the woman had instincts closer to those of a Black Widow. Since it made no difference to Cassie, she nodded. "Sure."

She pulled her braid over one shoulder, fingers working through the length of it, as she tried to think of spells she knew that might help. If there was a Dark Altar, they could ask a Priestess, but they hadn't come through a Gate... so what magic had brought them here? Wasn't the winds. She couldn't find a single radical or tether line, and no one would be so foolish as to drop someone in the space between, right?

Right?

They probably didn't have to find a more private spot to do their magic, but Paige had suffered the consequences of exposure before and didn't want to risk it here.

Once they were somewhere quieter, Paige started to think aloud about what they could do. "We'll probably need something powerful. Invoking the elements could give us an extra boost, or a spell to call on the power of our ancestors. Would both be too much?"

Cassidy had no clue what she was talking about. But she was willing to try. Her Rose Jewel necklace appeared around her neck, as her ring appeared around her finger. "I will follow your lead. My Rose is at your convenience," she said, touching the pale pink Jewel in her necklace. "I don't think with the Rose we can wind up with any magic that is dangerously too much."
