Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Have an old muse you want to dust off, or voice test a brand new one in our game setting? Then you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat, with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor with what appears to be.. are those floating islands? They sure are! And as if that isn't mind boggling enough, no one seems to have answers. But you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device and send you on your way. Perhaps the questions can wait for now. There's a new place to explore!
2. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to see, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Visit the market on Aerilon. Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
3. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
4. Wild Card! Customize your own scenario to fit your needs!

"Well met, then, Jaime--if I style you properly. And I'm afraid I couldn't tell you."
After all, he knew practically nothing about the man, save that he had to say the least a peculiar sense of humor. He waved a hand lightly at the offer, however, evidently not intending on drinking, himself.
"But, perhaps, your thoughts on the decorations? I must admit they're somewhat... extravagant, by my homeland's standards."
He could well have said "gaudy" or "tawdry," but instead avoided making any such value judgment--at least, out loud. Likewise, he didn't specifically focus on the golden hand, leaving the option to discuss something else, although it was a rather obvious centerpiece. Even so, a more explicit out might be appreciated.
"Or, if you find decorations a dreary subject, then the place where you came from, perhaps?"

The party was one great big cosmic joke. Never let it be said Jaime Lannister was a humorless; he had plenty of laughter to offer the circumstances.
"I never trust a man who doesn't drink," he lied. He trusted no one; not his other half with whom he had shared a womb, or even his dear little brother. His words came with a grain of truth, not partaking was suspect, Roose Bolton was evidence of that.

"I certainly wish to cause you no concern, Jaime, but I fear it doesn't agree with me. ...or rather, I'm afraid, it's been known to make me less agreeable, as well. I prefer to avoid the temptation, rather than to make anyone else pay for the consequences of my choices."

"Indeed, I have... although only from others, here. As for myself, my homeland is the Kaithenian Empire, of Eyuin, so I can scarcely fault you for finding my family's name unfamiliar."
He pauses briefly, smiling to himself.
"...but I must say, you do flatter me by the comparison. I've found that many of the great houses of my own homeland are so blessed with prosperity and grandeur that they only rarely feel compelled to stoop to such common pursuits as mine."
In other words, restraint. Even if Jaime had harsh criticisms of his relatives, Alric wasn't about to echo them himself; the most he could really do was put the statement in the context of the nobility. And, of course, frame it as though that lack of restraint was a sign of greatness, because stealth-burns are what courtiers do for sport.
