Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat, with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor with what appears to be.. are those floating islands? They sure are! And as if that isn't mind boggling enough, no one seems to have answers. But you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device and send you on your way. Perhaps the questions can wait for now. There's a new place to explore!

2. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to see, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Visit the market on Aerilon. Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.

3. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!

4. Wild Card! Customize your own scenario to fit your needs!

"What the--" he turns toward the owner of the voice. He blinks a couple of times and stares. "Dude, where did you come from?" He hadn't been there before. ....Had he? Dammit, now he's not sure.

"And to answer your question, both. But mostly the second one. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around all of--" he waves a hand around, gesturing at everything in the general vicinity. "this."

"Inter-dimensional kidnapping is a pain in the ass like that," Gabriel says drily. "Ended up here in the first big group."

Not answering the question about where he came from, nope. Cisco should thank him, really. He's being spared plenty of potential comments.

"See, it's the kidnapping part that freaks me out." Inter-dimensional travel in general was getting to be something he's, unfortunately, familiar with. "Even though, as kidnappings go, this is pretty nice?" He motions vaguely to the house. "But that also kind of makes it all the more suspicious."

Oh, he noticed the blatant ignoring of his question. Silently, in the back of his mind, he's still trying to decide if he just missed him. "I'm Cisco, by the way." he offers a hand for a shake.

"It's to make up for the killer bunnies," Gabriel says drily as he accepts the handshake. "I'm Gabriel. And no, I'm not kidding about the bunnies. Unfortunately."

"Killer bunnies?" He stares, a little shell-shocked at the idea of it, as his hand drops back to his side. "Are we talking Frank from Donnie Darko or full on Night of the Lepus, here?" Because both are creepy and terrifying, but in different ways.

"Neither. Large enough to have and use weapons along with venomous bites that make the bitten person hallucinate. They worked in groups, too." Sounds like buckets of fun, doesn't it?

"Aaaand I'm officially freaked out. Are these things common here?" He might be glancing around, like he might spot one sneaking around somewhere now.

[lotsoflaughs]

"There's only been an attack the one time, so far. So once out of close to two months isn't bad," Gabriel says with a shrug, shoving his hand back in its pocket.

"Well, that's...a form of comforting, I guess." Only barely, though. "So, you said you've been here since the first round of people started showing up here, right? Is there-- a reason just random?"

[lotsoflaughs]

"We're still trying to figure out the pattern. We've got the powerhouses, we've got purely human fighters, we have people who are best doing desk jobs," Gabriel says with a shrug.

[thisismadfreaky]

"So basically just a random grab-bag of people from other Earth's." Because that absolutely sounds like it could end really well and not bad at all. "Greaaaat." Considering recent experiences, this does not bode well in his mind. At all.

[lotsoflaughs]

"And other places. Not everyone's from Earth. Or are you gonna try to tell Luke Skywalker he's not from a ball of sand?" Just to add to the fuckery, yep.

He's just going to stare at you, now. Because... what? The name seems familiar, but in a way he can't place, like the name of a song that's on the tip of his tongue, but he can't quite grab it. "Is it your job to overload people's brains on their first day?"

[lotsoflaughs]

"Yup," Gabriel says cheerfully. He's one of the local shit-stirrers and not the least bit sorry for it. Cisco will either have to learn to live with it or stay far away.

He eyes him for a long moment, "Awesome," he says, voice heavy with sarcasm. He isn't sure he's going to like this guy so much.

"Sink or swim. If you can't handle me, you'll probably have problems with other things like the place floating because of actual magic. Not science people haven't figured out yet, the real thing." He's doing a public service, really.

[thisismadfreaky]

"Actual magic." He echoes, considering it for a moment. He's not sure how much he believes that, there's always an explanation to things, in one way or another. It's just a matter of finding that explanation. Then again, he's a Metahuman with powers he's actually still sort of afraid of, so maybe magic isn't so far off from a reality. But he's not ready to consider that possibility just yet. "I'm not accepting that yet." He shakes his head. "I am a man of science. I have to exhaust every other possibility first." Or at least some of them, okay?!

[lotsoflaughs]

"Have fun with that. I'm sure the toasters that work without an obvious power source should drive you nuts to try to figure out." Watching that could be fun, actually. Maybe he should show up with popcorn for his viewing.
