Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Have an old muse you want to dust off, or voice test a brand new one in our game setting? Then you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat, with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor with what appears to be.. are those floating islands? They sure are! And as if that isn't mind boggling enough, no one seems to have answers. But you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device and send you on your way. Perhaps the questions can wait for now. There's a new place to explore!
2. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to see, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Visit the market on Aerilon. Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
3. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
4. Wild Card! Customize your own scenario to fit your needs!
Tyleet - Elfquest - 1 and 2
The girl did not take up much space in the boat, being as short as most human children and petite for her height. Her wolf friend, however, she took up more than her fair share, pressing the girl to the edge of the boat, watching warily to keep anyone from coming too close. As soon as they got close enough to shore, she leapt freet, Tyleet climbing onto her back as her haunches bunched. They were a closely bonded pair and needed neither words nor sending. Once on shore, Tyleet sat astride her wolf friend, looking around, unsure. There were a lot of tall ones here, and she and Patience tried to melt into the background, looking for trees or at least stones to hide behind. She had her bow, her quiver, and her dagger.... but unlike many of the pack, she'd rather not fight. She was more her father's cub that way, then her mother's. She was the quiet of a forest in the rain at dawn, rather than the huntress.
2. In the forests
In the trees as you please, on the ground not a sound. Every Wolfrider from the Hot in the Forbidden Forest knew well that rule. Tyleet was no exception. She knew all the rules, and was well aware when she broke each one. But this was a whole new forest to explore, and the night was young, and the air deliciously scented with growing things. She was on the hunt for dinner, but she would happily settle for capnuts. Anyone want to come bother the young four fingered elf?
Beerune | OC | 2
Her wide-legged high waist-ed soft trousers don't hinder her movement in anyway, but they make traversing the undergrowth of the forest a fits and starts process. Beerune has to stop every few yards to untangle the flowing material from brush or thorns, she does have a little more luck though as what had been a deer track widens into a walking path. As she begins to pick up pace her breath catches as her peripheral vision catches movement in the tree boughs of to her side.
For a moment she can only hear bird song and the soft sound of the breeze through the boughs. She stays rooted feeling and vaguely hearing her heartbeat. She shifts her satchel strap on her shoulder the light material of her burgundy top with it's flared sleeves, doesn't feel warm enough in the shade of the forest, but also it's the light sheen of sweat she's feeling on her skin.
"Hello? Who is there? I mean no harm I'm looking for..."
Really at this point she's not even sure if she's still looking for a temple, or if the novelty of the forest has just proven too much.
"I'm new to this place, I don't mean to intrude if I've done so."
She searches the canopy of the forest, her eyes are sea-green color intelligent in clarity, in emotion kind and open.
"Hello?"
Re: Beerune | OC | 2
Her feet rested on the branch with the heels only touching it, toes open to nothing, her hands before her heels as she leaned forward, so that all that could be seen of her was her large eyes, framed not by her fiery fox like mane, but by the leaves around her. She gave a small whistle to get the other's attention. She still wasn't sure what to make of this roundear who could speak as they could, but she saw it as hope. A chance.
Strongbow would want to gut her for this, but Cutter's rules did say "in the trees as you please" and she most certainly was in the trees. So she very well would do as she pleased, thank you very much.
Re: Beerune | OC | 2
"Oh, hello. My name is Beerune-- I'm an adherent of the Goddess Sheem of Protective Justice. I hope I'm not distrubing your peace?"
no subject
"I do not know of any such Goddess," she said, simply, hoping that would suffice. "If in peace you do come, you are not disturbing mine," she added. She had tried to sound like the humans she observed, but it had just come out sounding awkward. Puckernuts. Maybe it would be better if she just was herself. High Ones knew that had always been a good answer for her in the past.
no subject
She nodded to Tyleet. "I was being to suspect she's unknown in this place. I'm glad my presents is no trouble. What is your name? Are you a native of this place, or were you brought here on a flying boat?"
no subject
"I arrived here on the... you called it...a boat?" she asked, leaning a bit closer, her ears now visible through the branches and leaves, long tapered and pointed. "I am called Tyleet."
no subject
She gives Tyleet a sunny smile. "It's good to meet you Tyleet."
I didn't realize that was Parker's actress!
"And... you..." she said carefully, cautiously.
no subject
Beerune may not understand the root of her caution, but she's definitely sympathizes with it. Back home being an adherent of her Goddess afforded her a certain amount of authority with many citizens, however much like the cities urban cohort this could lead to wariness if not outright aggression from some.
However, Tyleet does appear to be very comfortable is this great wooded place like Beerune might feel comforted in a temple. On the other hand she realizes, while her vestments aren't restrictive or ornate they probably look rather out of place off the road and away from a city or even a village.
"Are there many trees where you live? My homeland doesn't have as many trees in one place like this."
She smiled looking about her the sun shining on her hay colored hair as she looked about at the trees the wonderment from earlier hadn't left her. She loves the dappling of the sun and shade through the boughs of the trees.
no subject
"You... grew up somewhere without many trees?" she asked, her overly large eyes widdening as she peered at the tall one. She knew there were some who grew that way, like the Sunfolk and the Go-Backs, but she knew about those from stories and howls, she had never been able to picture such a place herself.
"I have always lived in the forests, that is where Wolfriders belong."
