Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Have an old muse you want to dust off, or voice test a brand new one in our game setting? Then you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat, with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat, but the vessel seems to be approaching a harbor with what appears to be.. are those floating islands? They sure are! And as if that isn't mind boggling enough, no one seems to have answers. But you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device and send you on your way. Perhaps the questions can wait for now. There's a new place to explore!
2. Go Exploring!: There's plenty of places to see, be it in your designated housing area, or on one of the adjoining community islands! Visit the market on Aerilon. Hike the mountains in Eurus. Sit on the beaches of Imber with a cocktail. Adventure in the forests of Mundus. Be careful though! Every area has it's dangers.
3. Party, party!: On the evening of your first night in the city, a party is being thrown on Aerilon in honor of your arrival. Eat, mingle, dance, meet the other new arrivals! The locals put on quite the celebration!
4. Wild Card! Customize your own scenario to fit your needs!

Then he paused. "But, you...can shift? If you can, I could..." And he clutched his head, whimpering. "Okay, maybe time to stop thinking about this for awhile." He panted a little. "Sometimes things come easy, like the language, and reading it, but some things... I guess maybe if they are too complex? They hurt, a lot." Like his brain wasn't designed to handle it.
He shook his head. "I thought, after the third conflict, that I had managed to dodge any more complications, but when things went completely batshit again, and I was watching it all on television, unable to get there, I felt like my head was going to explode. And I started having nightmares, and headaches. And every machine seemed simple to me, to fix, build, improve."
He shook his head.

"Good. Don't. It sucked. Stay here, wherever here is." He spoke fiercely, feeling like he was floating, like he was riding a wave of... too many different emotions to name.
he gritted his teeth and nodded. "Never go back. Humanity will only disappoint you."

A pause.
"Yes. I can shift to answer an earlier question. It's exhausting, but I am whole again. My Spark's in a display case, but I haven't checked to see if it transfers. I should test that sometime."

He shook his head, then smiled. "I'd love to help, if I can. And if you can change... that's cool, really cool. I'm glad, Ratchet." He smiled warmly. That was about the best news he knew, yet.
"How many worlds like this are there, out there?"
no subject
Ratchet grinned. "You missed the fun. It was bunnies. Four feet tall, and venomous and with a taste for human flesh. I got a lot of humans to safety or elsewhere. Squished a fair number of the creatures. They were harming humans, so it didn't break the code."
no subject
Sam was glad he'd missed that.
"No, yeah, you did right. People and things that attack without reason and wont stop, well... " He remembered killing a Decepticon, after pleading with them to stop, and his stomach lurched. He remembered killing a human, after he tried to doom the human race, and he almost threw up. Death and more death.
He swallowed and nodded. "You have to defend those who can't defend themselves."

"Of course, then I was yelled at by one of my fellow doctors and one of my nurses for daring to show my face at the clinic. They threatened to tie me down to my bed."

Then he laughed. "Why? I mean.... were you hurt?" Sam's eyes flicked across the man, as if to find the wound. Sure, this was weird, but still... Ratchet was a part of his world.
