Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!
3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

She strolls right up to him and grabs him by his jacket. "Where did they go?" She's expecting him to fully understand what she means. There were very, very few people she could be asking him about. She's even trying to ask nicely and without violence. The dirty glare wasn't helping her cause of attempting to play nice.

He didn't seem very moved aside from his speed heart rate. Moving a leg back to pull the case close enough to lay the cello down without yanking himself free. "Their at school." Simple words but with such meaning. His first day there and already he let someone shuffle the twins off to a school. He had walked with them before ending here.
no subject
"Take me there!" In a gesture of good faith she lets go and crosses her arms over her chest. It's the least threatening gesture she can manage to think of at the moment even if she does want to throw him. "I need to see them." It was her right as their mother.
no subject
Closing the case he lifted it. "Rules." He spoke the word not yet leading the way, simply lifting the case over his shoulder. "There are rules."
no subject
"They're my children. Not yours. I have every right to see them!" Diva and patience does not last very long. The slight fidgeting she's starting to pick up is her inability to wait. All she needs in the world is her family and she needs them now.

He moved to lead them quietly to towards White Willow, he knew he shouldn't turn his back on her, but something demanded he trust her. Maybe it was Nathan's words of how she wanted a family. Those girls were hers... but they were also Saya's.
no subject
"They're still mine." They were her hopes and dreams. Even if she might be a stranger to them she had to see them, hold them in her arms. "I have to see them. No matter what." Even if that meant trusting Saya's chevalier. Even if it meant she could be walking into a trap of some kind. Her children mattered more then anything else.
no subject
"I said nothing against that. But, they are also Saya's family. I have only started to see them the past six months. They are six years old I believe." he's wrong, their five, but he never intended to be alone with them. "It is on the next island, its a bit of a walk." He warned, since he was sure like her sister she gets bored easily.
no subject
"What do they know about being a Chiropteran? They must know they're different from humans." She hoped they did. On the other hand being different from humans is what made her so sad in her youth. Maybe it was better if they didn't know. She wasn't sure and she hated the feeling of uncertainty.
no subject
"They know what I have taught them, and that they must never touch one another's blood. Though I am not sure if the potency starts so young it is best to train them on it small. This is not our world Diva, there may be no Chiropteran's outside of us and them." The peaceful life Saya wished for might be able to happen here.
no subject
"Never? That's stupid." Okay maybe not sassing him was too hard. "If they never do what'll happen if someone tries to hurt them?" Aside from the fact she'll rip them limb from limb. That was probably safe to go unsaid. "They'll need chevaliars someday. Did you tell them that?" Need was subjective but she did genuinely like most of hers. Saya clearly had some weird feelings for Hagi even if she didn't understand it.
no subject
"I have not, I had hoped to wait until they were a little older to tell them that." He admitted. "I suppose that choice is now yours, if you wish it."
no subject
"I'll tell them, about what it's like." That way they could decide. She would still help have final choice over the matter. Clearly she couldn't let an unworthy person try to protect her children. "They can decide what they want then."
no subject
"Do keep in mind, Diva, they have grown up in the sun and loved. Unlike Saya or you at that age, they know the world and its people. Kai assured to that." Assured they never lacked love. Something Joel, as much as Haji respected the dead man, failed to do for any of them in truth. "As you wish." He muttered his normal phrase usually spoken to her sister.
no subject
That was the straw. She comes to a stop and snaps her attention fully on him with a sharp glare. Whatever anger was on the surface is to cover up old wounds. The pain and reality of it. She hated being reminded of it, all of those times she spent alone. "What do you and some human know?!" Her anger might have sounded like rage if her voice didn't crack. "I'll find them myself!" With that she's dashing off, using her speed to try and get away. She'd find them. They were her children she knew she could get to that island. That she was going to make sure they're loved and cared for.
no subject
"Diva. Stop, please." He asked in a tone that barley masked his own annoyance. "Saya trusted those humans, you trust Saya's feelings do you not?" He asked moving almost perfectly in pace. Mostly becuase he knew he goofed but he wouldn't be able to keep up with her for long, he's not been feeding right still. He had half a mind to bash her with the cello case but, he knew Saya would not approve. He hated to admit the tiny twins had wormed their way into his heart. He worried how they would react to seeing an older version of them without someone they knew close by.
no subject
"I need to know myself. Not what you say. Not what Saya believes." A sliver of peace. She could have that as soon as she saw them well.

He kept walking for the gate, quietly passing the through whatever security there was since he was designated guardian by the world. He would be gone five minutes at most before slowly making his way out the two small girls trailing behind him their hair was cut like Saya's, and both were hanging onto his sleeves as he lead them quietly toward them, the girls whispering back and forth as they neared the beautiful woman. For once since the Zoo, Haji looked less dead pan and a little more animated as he spoke kindly to the children. "Never fear, she is your mother. And I am right here should you need me." They had the chevalier wrapped around their little fingers even if he would deny it to his eventual grave.

She collapses on her knees in front of them, tears welling up in her eyes. "Oh little ones. You're more perfect then I dreamed you'd be." Slowly to night frighten them, she reaches out to hold their hands. They were still so small. So fragile. They were absolutely hers, there was no question about that.
no subject
Haji gave her the credit because of the babies. The way she calmed when he mentioned not scaring them. It was strange for him to feel moved with Diva so close but as those tiny hands moved up in an almost unison move each cupped a side of their mother's cheek so innocent and curious. "Mama?" Hibiki spoke low, as Kanade looked back to make sure their uncle was truely still their.
no subject
"That's right, dear." She rests her hands atop each of their heads and gives them a gentle hair ruffle. They were perfect. "You two are the most beautiful little girls I've ever seen!" She blinks away a few tears. "And bigger then I thought you'd be. I was hoping I would get to hold you both in my arms." To carry them, sing for them, there was an infinite list of things she wanted to do for them.
