Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!

3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Yes, they are. Wait here, I'll go get them and bring them out. It will give you time to decide what you would like to say, and save us any questions asked by the head mistress." He spoke, still he didn't like the idea but it was her right. He looked back to her. "I give my word I will return in just a moment with your children." He knew she must have fear but this way seemed best, it gave her a moment to prepare and him a moment to be sure the surprise would be lovely.

He kept walking for the gate, quietly passing the through whatever security there was since he was designated guardian by the world. He would be gone five minutes at most before slowly making his way out the two small girls trailing behind him their hair was cut like Saya's, and both were hanging onto his sleeves as he lead them quietly toward them, the girls whispering back and forth as they neared the beautiful woman. For once since the Zoo, Haji looked less dead pan and a little more animated as he spoke kindly to the children. "Never fear, she is your mother. And I am right here should you need me." They had the chevalier wrapped around their little fingers even if he would deny it to his eventual grave.

Hagi might give her too much credit. She stays outside waiting but she's nearly bouncing on her heels waiting. Diva could hardly wait. Shortly before they arrive she considers that he was tricking her. She takes a step forward and then she sees them. Her children. Her beautiful children. Safe. Sound.

She collapses on her knees in front of them, tears welling up in her eyes. "Oh little ones. You're more perfect then I dreamed you'd be." Slowly to night frighten them, she reaches out to hold their hands. They were still so small. So fragile. They were absolutely hers, there was no question about that.

"Go on." He spoke softly as they tried to hide behind his legs. "Uncle." The little voices spoke in a shakey worried tone. "I am right here." he reassured as the girls finally let go of him and slowly moved forward each reaching their little cubby hands out to touch Diva's elegant fingers. Their eyes looking into hers like recognizing their own.

Haji gave her the credit because of the babies. The way she calmed when he mentioned not scaring them. It was strange for him to feel moved with Diva so close but as those tiny hands moved up in an almost unison move each cupped a side of their mother's cheek so innocent and curious. "Mama?" Hibiki spoke low, as Kanade looked back to make sure their uncle was truely still their.

So tiny and precious. She didn't know what to say to them. She couldn't apologize for not being there. She had no idea that she was going to die. Diva wanted to live. She wanted to live and spend her days with the very children before her.

"That's right, dear." She rests her hands atop each of their heads and gives them a gentle hair ruffle. They were perfect. "You two are the most beautiful little girls I've ever seen!" She blinks away a few tears. "And bigger then I thought you'd be. I was hoping I would get to hold you both in my arms." To carry them, sing for them, there was an infinite list of things she wanted to do for them.

It was Kanade that perked up this time smiling as wide as her little face would let her a beam of sunshine for her mother. "You can! Uncle Haji and Uncle Kai do it all the time!" She explained as the girls proceeded to climb up into their mothers lap at once. Of course Haji was a big guy, and Kai was strong so it made sense, but Diva was a queen she surely had the strength to balance her two five year olds in her arms as they clung to her.

A rare sight, Haji actually smiled. It was a beautiful sight, he knew it would have broken Saya's heart but in the best way. He decided in that moment he would protect the three in hopes that one day Saya would return and get to see the sight herself, he knew it was what Saya would wish... well maybe. "Are you going to stay with us forever now, Mama?" Hibiki asked.

Diva couldn't help but start laughing as the girls crawled into her lap. She wraps her arms around them, holding them both with all the love and tenderness a person could muster. Each of her girls gets a kiss on the top of her head. Truly they were the greatest gifts anyone could ask for.

"Forever and ever!" It was a promise. She didn't know why she was where she was. She hadn't bothered to ask and with her children here she didn't care. "I won't leave your sides, I promise. I'll watch over both of you." Just like a mother should.

It was such a touching moment, one that Haji had no right to see, but they were his family to. The moment she took Riku the moment those children were born they were his family as much as Saya had been when he was younger before those feelings went less PG and he couldn't view her as family anymore.

The girls giggled and started cheering covering Diva's cheeks in kisses. They were still sad Kai wasn't around, but this was okay until Kai came back. One of their stomach's growled as the other chirped up. "Mama, I'm hungry!" Haji looked around a moment he knew there were restaurants around somewhere it was in the guide he had been reading before he had started to play his cello.

The laughter that erupts from her in response to the kisses is loud and the happiest sound she might have ever made in her life. She leans down and gives them each one more kiss on the cheek. "Okay, okay. We'll get food."

She looks up Hagi, he might not be her chevalier but he was overlooking the girls. "You must know where to go." She didn't. The girls were queens too, while not his chevalier by blood he seemed intent on serving them for his own reasons. Clearly he was going to be the one to guide them around in that case. "Only the best for them too!" As if she needed to say that.

Haji leaned down offering his hand down, both hands were bandaged but the girls on instinct both reached out for the hand let Haji help lift them to their feet. It was Kanade that looked confused when Haji didn't reach back down to help Diva up. "Uncle Haji...?" she asked confused and he knew why so he gave Diva a look that said not to say a word, offering her his hand as well. It's for the kids not her.

"There are many cafe's around here. Come along than it's lunch time." The girls cheered for joy standing to wait to take their mothers hand once she was on her feet.

Helping her children up, good. She was almost proud of him for doing so. He knew that the little ones were still queens in their own right. What she didn't expect was the hand extended to her or the look on his face. She looks at him utterly confused. He was not nor would he ever be her chevalier or groom. Slowly she takes his hand so he can help her up.

"Lunch time it is!" It was best to pretend she didn't think Hagi was being weird. He was. Best of all the walk there meant doing one thing she already knew she loved. Holding the hands of her little girls. "After lunch we can even take a nap or I could sing for you, if you'd like to hear mom sing." They could learn why she was Diva.

Haji was always weird, even by his own standards he lived to serve the queens any other real thoughts of life he had didn't go far beyond his music. The need to try to one day see Saya smile again pushed him to abandoned the things that once made him who he was. But he only helped her for the girl's sake. As far as he was concerned she could handle herself just fine. Even if it wasn't likely true.

Hibiki stood between her mother and uncle, one hand clutching her moms while the other held tight to Haji's sleeve just like Saya used to do to him. She looked up at Haji excited "Mama's coming home with us!" He forced a smile for the child and shrugged silently, in his head a few colorful words were being thrown around but the girls were already excited. Haji... was not thrilled at the idea of Diva singing, HE KNOWS what that usually brings. "I want to hear you sing!" Kanade chimmed up as Haji thought quietly about how his life became so damn complex just because he decided on impulse to visit the twins.

She would argue that she could handle herself just fine. That didn't make it true. Her chevaliers had always been there for her in some capacity even if it was only for their own goals. It didn't matter anymore. They weren't here. Hagi was and he was playing civil. Her daughters were here and they already loved her.

"I will have to make you a song." Her song was too sad. Diva could imagine that they wouldn't understand her song and she hoped that they never would. She gives their tiny hands a gentle squeeze. "One that's a beautiful and perfect as you two." One that shows how much they already mean to her. That they were already the center of her world. "You'll need to give momma a little time to work on it, okay?"

Haji knew better, she could handle herself likely no more than Saya could. They were both pampered in their own ways, Diva did deserve some pity for what the first Joel did. Not giving her a name or clothes was just cruel. So, he would be civil as long as it suited him and assured the children's happiness.

"Your song was always so sad." He actually commented, that song used to chill his very blood. He never heard her sing back in France he was almost never near the tower, but. He heard it many times before the beasts went mad, a shame such a lovely voice had such a deadly power. He worried for the girls, but they were her offspring surely her voice would not do the same. "You've heard mama sing uncle Haji?" Kanade asked as Haji silently nodded. "She has a lovely haunting voice." The children both smiled looking very suprised at their mother, approching a little outdoor cafe that smelled lovely of sweets and food, there was a sign that said to seat yourself next to a little gate, So Haji moved his arm that one of the girls was holding onto the open the gate for the three. Ever the gentlemen, for now.

"You listened to my song...?" All heard it. It was hard to not know her voice but she imagined no one ever truly listened to it. To her. That he might have was just as depressing as it was surprising. Despite it having been her conveying her sadness she didn't like everyone knowing what it meant.

She ushers the children in first and follows close behind them. "He's right. My normal song won't be near happy enough." There was no love in it. No compassion. "Maybe someday he'll play nice and help me write a song!" She's joking. She'd rather choke on Saya's blood then accept his help but she needed to prod him for a reaction.

"I'm a musician Diva, of course I listened." Even against his better judgement. Being the cellist was the second most important part of who he is after being Saya's Chevalier.

The look he gave her made the girl's giggle in time as they helped one another into the chairs at a pretty table before either adult could help them. Haji's look was one that was clearly a 'your joking right?' those that knew his normally unreadable mask could see the cracks in it. And her saying he'll play nice was so out there. He shook his head after a second and moved to push in the girls as once more one of the little voices chimed up. "Uncle Haji, you forgot to push in Mama's chair." They had him wrapped around their fingers. They didn't know french, but surely new the words he muttered low 'Play nice for them...' he wasn't acting strange because of Diva, he was carrying out the wishes of the girls. " He waited for Diva to sit. E

"That hasn't meant anything to people before." Plenty of musicians could hear. That didn't mean any of them considered what she was singing. They heard the melody and not her words.

Diva may not know him perfectly she had a good idea that she had found a way to get under his skin with that remark. She chuckles at her girls getting their spots and shortly after takes her own. "It's okay. He isn't quite as fun as Nathan so we may need to remind him how to enjoy himself." She winks at the girls, all mischief and playfulness once more. "In fact I'll tell you all about having fun after we eat and go home!" Of course her idea of fun and Hagi's probably don't line up...at all.

He pushed Diva's chair in as the girls wished despite the lack of desire to do so, beloved he moved away he leaned down just a hair. Je suis la voix. De l'amour qui ne peut vivre. Pourtant, il ne meurt pas. The girls looked confused, Haji used french when he didn't want them to know. They knew English and Japanese already smart buttons, but no one taught them french. His words were a stanza of her aria. He's heard it more than once. In Vietnam it burned into his mind as much as everything there did. He knew her bloody sad song.

He moved then taking out the other chair, his cello case leaned aside near a wall as the girls still looked confused a moment before smiling at their mom. "whose Nathan?" Oh shit, he'd have to tell Diva, fuck. Nathan wasn't so bad, dramatic but not bad. He didn't protest to her words he simply shrugged. The girls looking over the menu in hushed tones. The devices both their uncle and aunt would have been given upon arrival translated the words for them, but not the french their uncle spoke.

He did listen. He knew the words. Her eyes widen when he says the lines to her. She balls up a bunch of her dress in one hand. It was weird. She thought only her chevaliers listened to her, heard her. "I thought you would have ignored it." Her voice is quiet but she doesn't switch to French. She's astounded and she was positive that he would have never paid her song mind.

The girls get her to smile again and let out a cheerful laugh. "Nathan is my chevalier! He was the one who always loved to help make dresses, he helped do my hair and always found places for me to sing for people." What she didn't add was that Nathan wasn't even the favorite but she recalls him more vividly at the moment. Him being so kind as to lay her babies alongside her in her last moments. That made him special. "He's very funny." Dramatic funny which to her was the best kind. He managed to listen to her and keep her amused, a rare accomplishment for anyone.

Haji didn't really see what the big deal was, lyrics were as important as the music played with them. It was half the reason he doesn't like modern music. There was awhile he had enjoyed the music humans made but eventually he walked away with a sour taste in his mouth. "You know me about as well as I know you." He spoke plainly in return. Little eyes shifted from uncle to mother. Ohhh its like when Uncle Kai yells at uncle Haji, they expected to see Mama headbutt their uncle any second.

"He was an interesting man, out of your others I didn't mind him." The way he emphisied was, was his way of letting her know, a promise in his tone to explain later. Thankfully the chipper pretty waitress arrived and made the cutest face at the girls. "Oh aren't they precious." She introduced herself and asked if they were ready to order.

Did he just sass her? He wasn't sassing her again. She kicks him under the table, huffing at him and his attitude. "You're so rude!" Here was hoping to give him a sliver of hope in being a decent person and not useless chevalier. Looks like she was wrong.

"Nathan was the nicest." More then Solomon and Amshel. He seemed to find a way to do little things to help her instead of simply hugging her or always indulging her. It was odd. She wasn't sure she completely understood it but she liked those things about him. "Oh, yes! They're my pride and joy." She beams to the waitress about her children. A short second later she's pointing out multiple items on the menu to order. Sorry Hagi but what is a budget.

"Rude? I only spoke the truth." he didn't even flinch but one of his eyebrows twitched a bit. Which got a giggle from the girls. They didn't know what was going on but it was funny.

Haji pulled the device from his pocket blanching a little. Oh fuck, oh well. Que sera sera. He needed to get a job anyway. There was enough money to get through a month but with Diva added... well fuck. Granted she would have her own account but Haji was a gentlemen so he'd rather not ask her and he wont. The girls beamed at their mother. "Uncle Haji, what can we have." The child closest to Haji asked, as he leaned a little closer. "Whatever your hearts desire. Don't worry its quiet alright, Kai wont mind." They smile and named off a couple sweet and some noodles to. The waitress looked to Haji next who just stared a second. "...Tea." Might as well fake it while people watch. He could eat, he just didn't have to.

"You're being rude to a lady!" She folds her arms over her chest much like a frustrated child. At least the girls got a laugh out of it so it was hard for her to stay mad. "You better not be teaching the girls to be this rude." That's her job.

Diva couldn't be happier to see her girls getting all that they wanted. It was a sight that warmed her heart, gave her some faith but she didn't know in what. "If you eat up all your food, I'll sing to you after it." Who would ever be worried about a little queen not eating enough? Strangely enough, Diva. "I'll even sing you part of my song if you want me to." Not because she wanted to but because they might want it.

He kinda missed the days when Saya got huffy at him for sassing. Those long gone days when he used to smile. Now only the girls could really get a smile out of him with Saya in hybrination. "I am teaching them no such thing. " He spoke with a shrug his arms crossed over his chest now.

The girls nodded happily so excited for their mom to sing to them. "Uncle Haji sings for us sometimes when Miss Julia isn't visiting." Cue Haji looking away, nope nope of course they sold him out. Why did they have to tell Diva. "We want to hear Mama sing!"

"You better not!" Just like a queen she's very determined to set her foot down. Literally on his foot if she has to. Diva is the only one to teach the girls how to be ridiculous and mock others.

Did she hear that correctly? The smile on her face grows wider at the mere image of it. "You'll have to get him to sing when I'm here." Because she knows the little queens can without much effort. "Only after we finish eating. We'll call it a treat~." A treat for the girls. Hagi...not so much.

He has no doubts that she would try to put one of her heels through his shoe if she wanted. "I have no intention. This place has them designated under my care. I plan to treat them as the queens they are." And before Haji could say mom it was Kanade who chirped up.

"Mama gets to live with us!" Her sister started to cheer happily to as Haji just sighed, he couldn't say no as much as every fiber of his being screamed no. The girls nodded excited. "Yes Mama!" Oh fuck his life.
