Test Drive

Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon. Or, attend one of the many block parties!
3. Lost!: Somehow you got yourself turned around and confused and getting back to where you want to be is looking impossible.
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

After the last attempt to create a portal back to Azeroth failed and placed him atop a mountain, his return placed him on a paved walkway not far from the water's edge on Imber. With his energy fairly depleted, the archmage gripped his fingers around Atiesh until his balance was regained. That's when he spotted Khadgar, the boy he'd asked Lothar about back in Karazhan.
The Guardian stood looking blankly. His apprentice wouldn't hear it, but there was a small, inaudible sigh sounding.]

He wished he didn't look like he'd been unexpectedly ambushed by murlocs at this surprise meeting between the two of them. He was already low enough he suspected in the other mage's regard.]
Guardian.
[The title was spoken with respect, and a subtle tinge of wariness. He still recalled rather well just how fast Medivh had been able to call fire to his bidding. He hadn't any warning at all before it'd happened.]

Apprentice. Come, we have much to talk about.
[Medivh turned and continued to walk.]

He just wished he knew a spell to dry his clothes off quick and easily. The way the fabric of his tunic and breaches clung to his skin was rather uncomfortable. However, he had his doubts that Medivh would wish to delay long enough to let him wring the excess water out of his clothing.]
Have you learned anything about this place and how we arrived on the boat that brought us here?
[He certainly hadn't traveled through any sort of portal that he could recall, unless something had knocked him out after the gryphon had landed and thus robbed him of the memory of it.]
no subject
[And now came a passing look, to see if the young man walking with him had a reaction. His next question would allow for better insight.]
What do you remember last, before coming here?
no subject
His eyes flickered from the ground to Medivh and then back again as he tried to think of just how to answer that question without regretting it. Perhaps if he left out what he'd seen in Karazhan the answer would be received better than it would if he started from there.]
I was heading back to Stormwind on gryphon back from Dalaran.
[Was it too much to hope for that he wouldn't be asked just why he'd been in Dalaran? He hoped not. He wasn't sure how he'd explain that.]
no subject
A hand emerged from under his cloak and at the wrist, his fingers turned clockwise and like that Khadgar's clothing was clean and dry. Only after did the Guardian's eyes furrow slightly.]
What matter of business did you have in Dalaran?
[His expression was more than interested in knowing what he was doing in the floating city after saying he'd renounced his vow at their first meeting.]
no subject
He looked up at Medivh after a moment despite knowing that the conflict he was currently feeling would no doubt be visible in his eyes as they quietly searched the other man's eyes as if looking for something.]
I--saw something. In Karazhan. After the meeting with the orcs. I thought that they--I thought I might get answers to questions I had in regards to it.
[No sense really in saying he'd thought to get help from them. He really should have known they wouldn't bother to actually help. That had been partially one of the reasons he'd left, their lack of inclination to help people in need when it didn't suit them to do so.]
