Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Keeping the streets clean? Are you a street cleaner?"

And facing Ms. Marvel, golden yellow eyes blinking curiously at her, is Cure Beat, her strange blue-and-white outfit a major difference towards the Inhuman's more conservative outfit.

"Eheh, s-sorry... bad joke, I know."

[ms_perfection]

Despite herself, and her growing sparkly eyed expression at how cute Beat's outfit was, Ms Marvel smiled brightly.

"No, no, it's okay! I just... I didn't expect another crime fighter to be out here. You've got such a cool outfit though. How does it go on though? That's all cloth isn't it? I don't see latches or zippers either..."

[hearts_beat]

"Y-You think so?" Cure Beat said, blinking in surprise. "Yeah, it's cloth... well, it looks like cloth, but it's magical - both in durability and how I can put it on.. It can really take a beating and all!"

A small pause before.

"You really think it's cool?"

[ms_perfection]

"Oh that is so cool," said Ms Marvel with a nod. "It really is! You're like one of those Japanese superheroes from anime. I'm not very knowledgeable about them but hey, superheroes are superheroes right?"

Getting up, she offered her hand to Beat. "I'm Ms Marvel, nice to meet you."

[hearts_beat]

"I'm Cure Beat. It's nice to meet you, Ms. Marvel...!" Beat said, taking the other heroine's hand. "Though, me? An anime? Eheh, there's no way they'd make me a superhero. Not with what I've done."

She grinned sheepishly at that. Yeah, her past isn't that great.

[ms_perfection]

"I dunno, you look the part, more than I do anyhow. But hey, Cure Beat? That mean music powers?" asked Marvel, shaking firmly but not too hard.

"Oh don't worry, you don't have to be squeaky clean to be a hero. There's plenty of somewhat grey people out there in my world."

She says knowing one of her heroes was Wolverine.

"Well..." Letting go of Ms. Marvel's hand she held out her hands and letting the Love Guitar Rod manifest in her hands, which, yes, looked like a guitar. "...yeah, pretty much on the music themed powers."

She did look a little concerned. It was okay to not be super squeaky clean? Oh, sure the other Cures accepted her, but other heroes?

[ms_perfection]

"That is really cool," said Marvel as she grinned widely. "Being able to play music and fight at the same time? That's amazing."

Beat's expression looked like she was thinking about what she said to her, and Ms Marvel smiled. "Hey. There's plenty of heroes who will accept people with a checkered past. Not every hero can do right all the time."

[hearts_beat]

"Really? It's just..." Beat let out a soft sigh as she looked away from Ms. Marvel. "...I've hurt a lot of people out of jealousy and anger. All because my friend got to have the special role I usually had. I know it probably sounds silly to you, but... well... to me, knowing I hurt those people..."

She does shiver, though. It's really tough to get over what she's done.

[ms_perfection]

"So you used to be quote one of the bad guys, unquote. I can understand the change of heart though."

Taking a chance, she placed her hand on Beat's shoulder as she moved to face her with a reassuring smile. "But you wouldn't be a hero if you didn't make up with her, am I right? I mean I'm just guessing but people don't get awesome sparkly costumes like that just out of being jealous."

[hearts_beat]

"Heh... you're right. I did make up with her." Beat said, letting out a soft sigh as she smiled at Ms. Marvel. "I guess it just still bothers me that I did so many bad things over that bit of jealousy..."

[ms_perfection]

"I don't think anyone could just put that away," said Marvel with a shake of her head.

"Living up to your mistake, and making sure people don't repeat yours, that's the biggest way of apologizing for it."

[hearts_beat]

"Heh... thank you. It's weird hearing it from someone you've just met, but... it feels really good." Beat said, leaning forward to give Ms. Marvel a hug.

And, then, to change the subject. "...really like the scarf."

[ms_perfection]

"Thanks. So uh, well, since we're contemporaries in a different world, I guess it's okay." She hugged Beat back before pulling back and removing the mask.

"My name's Kamala, and yours?"

[hearts_beat]

Beat blinked in surprised as Kamala unmasked herself. Okay, that was unexpected. But, if she was doing that...

Letting out a small relaxing sigh, she removed the brooch hanging on her chest, her costume disappeared in a burst of light, leaving her in her normal clothes.

"My name's Ellen. Ellen Kurokawa."

Man she's damn pretty. Kamala would have been jealous of her looks a few months ago. Now? She grinned and held out a hand.

"Kamala Khan. Wanna be friends?"

[hearts_beat]

That drew a big smile on Ellen's face, taking Kamala's hand and nodding enthusiastically. "Of course! I'd really like that a lot!"

"I mean... you DID trust me with your identity and I trusted you with mine, so...!"

Yeah, she had to admit there was a bit of a big trust thing there. And yeah, there was also the fact that Kamala was pretty, too, but she probably wouldn't want to hear that...!

[ms_perfection]

"Awesome! Its really cool you're a superhero and I'm a superhero and we can hang out and stuff..." said Kamala with a grin.

She wouldn't mind being called pretty to be fair, Kamala really had no good moments being called that other than from her folks.

"So, want to get off this roof and go get something to eat?"

[hearts_beat]

"Sure! But, ah... either you need to get into some normal clothes or I should transform again." Ellen said, grinning sheepishly.

It would be awkward to go do that in their state.

[ms_perfection]

"Ah yeah about that."

Going over to the nearby chimney, she pulled out a bag that was hidden there and pulled out a jacket. "I wear my costume under my clothes," she said, slipping on the jacket, and hiding most of her costume. The rest went into the backpack.

[hearts_beat]

"Oh... I see." Oh, well, that was simple!

"Y'know, Kamala, I'm still surprised you let me know who you were. Do you really trust me that much? I mean..."

[ms_perfection]

"Well..." said Kamala, tucking her scarf into her bag. "Normally I wouldn't just blow my identity out of the water like I did here. But something told me that it was okay."

"Besides," she added, putting her mask into her bag. "You're not the only one who is burdened here. It seems like there's a lot of people who have trouble, and the more teammates and friends I have, the better. Someone's gotta look out for the little people, right?"
