Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Bran watched the stranger come over to him and wondered what he was supposed to do now. He assumed the chair could move but without instruction, moving it would be difficult.

The man, however, didn't seem to be hostile. And he words rang true. There was nothing currently trying to eat them, which Bran had to admit was a good thing. Wherever this place was, he would do his best to learn from it. Despite unable to walk, and the fact that he could be seen, he was still leaning towards a vision as an explanation.

"I am Brandon. Of House Stark." He finally replied. He saw no reason to hide his identity here. After all, he had to be here for a reason and since the Children of the Forest had known him before his arrival, it was safe to say so did those who lived here. "Are you new here as well, Lyndon?" He asked, trying to sound the brave Lord he was and not a scared child in a wheeled chair.

"Brandon of House Stark." He repeated the words, his tone of voice carefully crafted to sound as though he were simply committing it to memory rather than testing the sound of it. Nobility, then, but displaced just as Lyndon himself was. It was highly unlikely there would be a reward here for his return or anything like that, but the treasure-wary rogue wouldn't discredit the scarce possibility. He'd never keep a hostage, even thieves had to have lines they were unwilling to cross, but if he had family here willing to pay for the safe return of their young Lord, why, who was Lyndon to argue with their generosity?

He inclined his head at Bran's question in confirmation. "So it would seem. I've learned a few things today already. Ships can fly, chairs can roll," his eyes moved to Bran's wheelchair, then back to the boy's face, "and islands can float." He smirked, then allowed his dark eyes to return to the chair. "It can roll, can't it?"

Bran looked down at the chair he had been placed in and studied it closely for a moment. "I would assume so." The wheels seemed to have handles on them and so he tried pushing one of them. The chair moved forwards slightly. Smiling ever so slightly, he looked up at Lyndon. "It appears it can roll. Which is much easier to other modes of transport I have had to use in the past."

For the next few minutes, Bran tried to learn how to use the handles of the chair to propel himself. His arms had weakened with lack of use but they were still strong from years of climbing. He wondered if a chair such as this could be made in Westeros upon his return. It would certainly work better than what he and Meera had previously been using.

Lyndon cared about people in general more than he typically let on, though he would still be very interested to learn how much this boy's family would pay for his collection and return. He was a rogue, a scoundrel as Kormac would say, and was prone to putting himself before everyone else. At least, that's what they all needed to think. As such, his impressed expression was genuine, though exaggerated just enough to seem over the top and potentially fake, and his tone of voice was emphatic for the same reason.

"Well, would you look at that? I wonder if there are a lot of people around here who'd need a rolling chair. Seems like a strange thing to have a demand for, wouldn't you say?"

Bran wasn't sure how to answer that at first. Still trying to work out how to efficiently use his new mode of transport. But he eventually speak a response to his conversational partner.

"That would all depend on the people around here. Many of them could be crippled in the same way as I am even if their circumstances are different."

Lyndon watched the boy for a moment, weighing his words. He couldn't exactly argue with them, being just as new as Bran of the Rolling Chair. He gave a look around to the milling crowd for a few moments before looking back to the boy, rolling his shoulder in a shrug and adjusting the strap of his large crossbow across his shoulders.

"I don't see anyone else with a rolling chair, Brandon of House Stark, but I may not be seeing things as you are." He smiles, rolling with it. "So, shall we explore this new world separate or together?"
