Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? ~~Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands~~.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Parties, in theory, would be fun if one isn't an awkward teen girl thrown into the middle of a strange land with none of her friends having arrived with her. Since Hazel is one of these awkward teens, she's standing near the wall with a fizzy bubbly drink in her hand, watching everyone around her with a careful eye.

One day Annabeth will have to have a talk with Will about locking her out of the house. It's rude and annoying. Except okay maybe this one time is the exception as she spots a familiar face in the crowd of a party she really doesn't want to be attending but is anyway. And she makes her way closer, almost not believing it.

"Hazel? When did you get here?"

Hazel's eyes go wide as Annabeth steps up to her. Without saying anything, she hugs the older demigod tightly, tears brimming in her eyes.

"Annabeth, you're okay!"

Annabeth is totally fine with the hug, but she's a little confused. But hey, if Hazel needs one...

"Uh..,yeah? I'm--oh." Oh. This has to be another time thing, right? Unless she was missing back home because she'd been here a while and she can't exactly get a message out. Although she's half tempted to check on the status of the Iris Message she'd tried with Will when they first got here.

"Uh...okay this is going to sound like a weird question, but what's the last thing that you remember at home?"

The last thing she remembers from home?

"Um... We were flying on the Argo II after you and Percy fell into Tartarus," she said, her voice shaking. She could still almost hear the boulders hitting the ship from Gaea's earth spirits blocking their way.

Okay, that made more sense. So it was another weird time thing. One day she'd figure out why that was even happening or if there was a pattern to it, but for now all she can really do is deal with it. And hope she's not "that crazy girl."

"Yeah. Please don't think I'm crazy but that was a while ago. We got out. I guess people come here from all kinds of...times or something. I just heard that a giant statue of Apollo crushed the dining pavilion at Camp Half Blood so I get to rebuild that, I guess."

A pale man wearing sunglasses holding a beer wanders by her before giving a hard stop and tilting his head a little. There's a connection between death that Theo can sense from Hazel, so the necromancer demigod paused in his walking to give her a smile.

"Hello," he said with a proper London accent, smiling. It's a nice smile despite the fact that he felt like he's just walked over your grave.

That chill running down her spine causes her to look around. Hazel looks right at Theo when he speaks to her.

"Uh.. hello?"

"I don't believe we've met?" Of course the question is always how to make this not sound like he's some guy trying to pick up on a teenager. (Wedding rings really don't matter so much in these cases.) Idly he wonders exactly how creepy he's going to sound when he says this... "I'm Theo, a necromancer."

"I don't believe we have, either," Hazel replied. He does sound like a bit of a creepy guy.

"I'm Hazel, and I could tell you had something to do with death."

"It is a bit on the obvious side if you know what it feels like, isn't it?" he said, grinning briefly. "What about you?"

"...I'm a daughter of Pluto," she said. "I can sense undead and death..."

Not that she really wants to, most of the time.

"Oh? Really? There's a son of Hades around here. And I'm the son of a death god that no one has ever heard of." He snorted softly. It's hard being the son of a god no one has heard of.

That caught her attention. "A son of Hades?" Hazel is suddenly very intense. "What is his name?"

"Nico." There's a slightly sad flicker in Theo's eyes. It's the look of someone who realizes that the person he's talking to knows someone here and will have someone, unlike him.

Will had to resort to taking Annabeth's keys away and going to the party in order to get her out of the house. Luckily for him, she decided to follow instead of sit there and mope. Moping was not good Annabeth. Waiting for Nico to join him, he spotted a very familiar face.

"Hazel?" He ran up to her. "Does Nico know you're here?"

Hazel started when she heard her name and looked at the unfamiliar boy.

"Do I know- How do you know Nico?"

Nico wasn't a name that is that common, was it?

Will gave her a confused look. Right, this wasn't going to be awkward at all. Now he really wanted to go find Nico and be like 'hey, I thought you told your sister you were gay and dating me? What gives?'

"Um, probably because I'm dating him? He didn't tell you? I thought he told you?" Didn't he introduce them? Was he going nuts?

Hazel frowned. "...Nico di Angelo, right? We are talking about the same person?"

Because she would know if her brother was dating someone. He did just spend several days inside a jar while she and her friends traveled to Rome.

Will was silent for a little bit. Shit. Did he really not tell his sister? He tried to remember the scene where they met. Nico had introduced him as his boyfriend not just his friend, right? They had made that step? Will felt like he was loosing his mind....and kind of like he wanted to storm over, find Nico and demand an explanation.

"Yeah. Nico di Angelo. I'm sorry. I could have sworn we met." Oh gods, what if she didn't know he was gay? Nico was going to kill him and Will really wasn't ready to meet his father.

"As much as I'd love for my brother to have someone, I have to say I've never met you before, I'm sorry," Hazel said, her hands twisting around her cup. Time shenanigans are weird, mkay?

Just to be on the safe side, Will thought he'd ask. Otherwise Nico would roll his eyes at him, call him a moron and he probably wasn't going to be getting that kiss.

"Just to make sure we crossed our t's and dotted our i's......you remember defeating Gaea right?"

Cause otherwise? He was going to have to have words with his boyfriend about coming out to his sister.Like really? He came out to the entire camp but not Hazel? What's wrong with you Nico? Will was already going to have to start this with 'by the way, I accidentally outed you to your sister and introduced myself as your boyfriend. Have fun.'

"The last thing I remember from home was trying to cross the mountains to get to Epirus," Hazel said. "Gaea hasn't risen yet, we were trying to stop that."

"Well, that might explain it. I think we're from different time periods. Since, we're I'm from, Gaea definitely rose. Everything's fine by the way. But you might want to preemptively punch Leo. You Camp Jupiter guys missed out on the 'punch leo' line. Don't worry, he deserved it. "

Right. That was the explanation. Maybe Hazel would just forget that he just told her that Nico was gay. That could happen, right?
