Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Oh my god, how can you even find anything in that?" asked Leafa, partially in horror from the lack of a clean UI.

"Your brother? The Asuna I knew didn't have one."

"Really? Wow... another real change between your Asuna and me." Asuna said, scratching her head slightly. "I'm curious, though - you said you missed your guild. Why did you like being around them?"

[swiftlet]

"You have to have a preference. You don't care if I keep talking?" Most people found that incredibly annoying. But if it was true, it was certainly refreshing.

"Good. You do that."

"At least she never talked about him, when myself, Lizabeth and her went hunting for ingredients." admitted Leafa.

"Well... they're my friends, really good friends at that. When I entered the game, I was a solo player, helping new players once in a while, that sort of thing. But it wasn't till I met the members of Log Horizon that I felt welcomed. They're very close, and there's only about 7 of us in the guild right now. But I really enjoy being around them. There's Minori and Toyha the kids, master Nyanta my fencing teacher, Shiroe our guild leader, Akatsuki our ninja roleplayer and Naotsugu our reliable tank."

Asuna looked down a bit hearing that. She seemed so lucky to get along with so many people. Though, the mention of Lizabeth did cause her to wince.

"You're lucky. I could never get along with that many people." Asuna admitted. "Maybe I could have if I didn't meet him..."

[blindpuppet]

"Do what? Aren't you coming with?" She didn't mind listening. You learned new things when you were able to listen to people talking but she also didn't want to force anyone to do anything.

It was how she was.

"That guy huh," said Leafa in sympathy. "I know bad encounters would hurt people's tendency to trust too... sorry bout that."

"It's alright, just..." Asuna began before sighing. "There was a guy who went by the name of Kirito. He found me while I was doing something on my own. He was insistent that I was doing things all wrong and when I somehow ran out of stamina, I found myself in a hotel room."

She clenched her fists a bit. "That jerk dragged me there and decided to try to play bodyguard for me! I didn't need his help or his protection! I was fine as it is! And the fact that he waited over me for so long...!" She shivered at that. "How could I trust he wasn't trying something?!"

"And then there was the fight with the first floor boss... I knew my suspicions of him were right when everyone started calling him a 'beater'!"

She stopped and decided to clarify on that bit. "That's something of a new name players have taken up - a combination of "beta player" and "cheater"."

"I just... augh...! Every time I think of him and his haughty attitude...!"

[swiftlet]

"I can. It's not like I have anywhere to be." Or. He did but he couldn't get there right now. How long would it take Azriel to find out he was gone? Would Tyson even care that he was here? As much as he loved his family it wasn't exactly a perfect one.

"Do you want me to?"

Wait, wasn't that guy who... Leafa turned a little green. "Gross. That guy is just gross! I mean, who does that sort of thing!?

I wish I didn't help him in my world, that's just awful."

"You met him, too?" Asuna winced at that. There were worlds with him in it, too. He just seemed so...

She shivered before reaching over and hugging Leafa.

"He was the idiot who tried to solo the area boss," said Leafa, hugging her back.

"Seriously, he's not that bad in my world but oh my god he's so dumb. I don't even."

She should be nice but the first thought that came to mind at the sight of it was how much smaller than Zordon's ship it seemed. Granted, a lot of it had gone unexplored so far, they'd been busy! Just what they had been able to see though, had run through in a panic, had where the Pit had been as well as the zords, she could tell it was huge.

No name though, at least Andros' ship had a name. That they knew of really. Zordon seemed so business-only that asking something like that would probably earn them a trip to the Pit for wasting time.

"Yeah. Tell no one of your identity, never escalate a fight unless your enemy does, and never use our powers for personal gain. Honestly though, after our fight with Rita and Goldar, we;d be stupid to want people to know who we are. Most of Angel Grove is living in a refugee camp in the park now."

Straightforward talk? I'm known for it.

"We work," Dillon said. "We play. We... go about like this is normal." He gave a shrug. "They've got bars, so I'm pretty sure they've got pizza." And smoothies. Though to be honest it wasn't as much fun seeing Ziggy make a smoothie without Flynn glowering in the background because his smoothie time always got interrupted by a Venjix-bot attack.

I was thinking more like 'vague non-answers' with the whole brooding thing. Not as many people dig it as movies say they do.

[She shrugs a little.]

I think I'll live. Gotta actually budget here. So, how about keeping a girl company? Dance?

Enis considered his question before nodding. "I think so." She wasn't sure of many things but she didn't dislike Swifts company. She found it interesting and also informative. He was easy and spoke in a manner that she understood.

"You would know more about music than I would."

[oopsimaranger]

Ziggy didn't like Dillons answer though it couldn't really be helped. His mouth gaped open before snapping shut. "Right. Let's go get some pizza then." It'll be something normal in this place.

"Lead the way."

[oopsimaranger]

If you want someone who might step on your shoes then I'm your guy.

[That isn't the best liner.]

I meant, yeah. Dancing. I can totally do that.

[swiftlet]

Right about now he'd take "think so." That was good enough. In a strange place like this, he didn't have much else to go with. Still, he smiled. At least he hadn't annoyed anyone too much.

"I don't know that I would, to be honest. I don't know what sort of things they have here."

"We just have terrible luck..." Asuna said, pulling away.

"But, enough about him - what about this place?"

[leafheld]

"Well, this place is called Medietas, and it used to float in the sky. There's plenty to see and there's places to work and explore," said Leafa. "Think of it as an expansion actually."

[stayed_solo]

"Well, at least I won't be bored here." Asuna said, chuckling. "Do you think there are places I could hit to grind up at? I'd like to keep trying to be stronger. Just in case, y'know...!"

They were certainly quite different designs. Andros would like to think his ship was in better shape, not being 65 million years old, but you never know. Alpha was handy. Maybe her Alpha was just as handy. He motioned to her and went inside through the cargo bay and to the left was his very own cautionary tale via the gift shop. Want an autograph Kim? How bout a toy megashp or a yellow ranger?

Her Angel Grove sounded like it got hit hard. Potentially worse than what happened after Astronema's forces. "That sounds familiar. The rules and Angel Grove. Yours could be different, but they'll survive. Angel Grove is good at rebuilding. They've got lots of practice. "

How to bring this up? Andros probably looked a little uncomfortable. He'd violated Zordon's rules, once back home, and once here, when he'd escalated a spar between him and Marvelous into a fight and left him bloody.

"Back home, in my Angel Grove, everyone knows who my team is." He gestured to the shop and held out a toy ranger. " I don't reccomend it unless you never want privacy ever again." One of these days he'd be able to go on a date with Ashley without running into a reporter or star struck civilian. They meant well, they did. Earth just wasn't ready.

"We didn't have a choice. But, I wanted to bring it up because there's another member of my team here, and we haven't kept it a secret." Besides, as far as Andros was concerned, that was strictly an Earth rule. "But I'll keep yours."
