Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Alright. Cool, give me... I guess half an hour?

[She's always been active, with cheerleading, but since the coin? She's definitely got more energy for running, fighting, everything. And she has the map. Maybe she doesn't have Billy's memory but she can memorize the quickest route. That way no one will find her with her nose constantly stuck in a map.]

[Former queen bee or not, Kim still loves the attention. So when Ziggy finds her and seems to trip over his words, she can't help but grin.]

Not really, but that's the best way Dillon can think of describing it. Possibly because he doesn't know how else to, but let's not think on that. Also he won't be held responsible for breaking any instrument Ziggy annoys him with

[That was interesting. And something he'd never experienced before. As far as he knew the other rangers he'd met didn't either...As for the name, Andros gave Ziggy a look. He was definitely new. Or maybe that was a thing where he was from? Weird.]

Why would you do that? I'm Andros....you don't have to call me by my color.

I don't think you need makeup. I mean really but if you want it I'm sure there is a store around here with it.

[He really doesn't know anything about makeup.]

"That sounds a lot farther than I'm used too." His voice cracked as he spoke and he took a moment to cough and clear his throat.

"I don't think I can teleport us back home then."

Not saying Ziggy might not try it but it will most definately not work.

[He'd just learned Andro's color first.]

I'm going to have to see this because there are definately explosions with my suit... Wait. How do you have a suite? Does your... home [He flails a hand before looking back at the screen.] have someone like Dr. K?

Enis looked back at Swift, pausing a moment. "It's up to you." With that she turned and began walking towards her new destination. She didn't have a preference what Swift did. He could follow or not.

Andros shut off the communication on his end and highlighted the Megaship's location on map, sending it to Kim. At least with this version he wouldn't have to walk her through how to open something like that too. He was liking this Kim. Okay, he liked the other one too, but, the other team? They were so...friendly. And touchy. And cheery. And Andros, even after over a year and a half with his team, still had trouble with that much cheer. He was not a touchy feely person and preferred when people kept their hands to themselves.

Andros was still wearing his uniform, because you were going to have to pry it off his cold, dead body. He eventually made his way outside, meeting her on front entrance that led into the cargo bay....that was unfortunately still a gift shop. Maybe he could just recycle all of it? At the very least it was a cautionary tale as to what might happen if you revealed yourselves. You got a museum. You had to sign autographs and answer questions and talk to people, Kim.

Good.

[he could understand calling a Ranger by their color if secrecy was needed, but.....okay, no he didn't really understand that. He was still getting used to the fact that Earth was a backward planet and most Rangers identities were secret....and the consequences of those actions.It was annoying.]

My planet's had rangers for years. KO-35 is one of the original ranger planets. Who is Dr. K?

[It was probably a good idea not to call it spandex to Andros too. Good work Dr. K.]

Oh. Our connection to the Morphing Grid was created years ago, under the guidance of Zordon. I don't suppose you know who that is? But if your Dr. K created Rangers without any guidance or knowledge of the Grid......I'm impressed.

Andros would like her team then, the non-touchy feely rangers, misfits. And definitely possessing attitudes that would keep most people at arms length.

She took a moment to find the shortest way to his ship and the headed out, jogging most of the way and noting landmarks here and there for the future. The less she ever had to rely on a map, the better. When she found her way, probably more than half an hour, she gave the uniform a hard and slightly confused look. He looked around her age, what was with the getup.

"So... this is your ship?"

He sighed and started after her, shaking his head. Really, he should be used to this by now.

"How about we start there. Usually you wait for people to answer you before walking off."

Enis paused and turned back to look at him. "Why?" She was at least trying to understand what he meant, that was something.

Yeah Dr.K is pretty smart.

[That's an understatement.]

She makes us upgrades too and our cars.

Somehow he figured that "because it's polite" wouldn't sit well with her. But he had to say something. "Because maybe people aren't finished talking."

Dillon nods, having already suspected this.

"Don't know how much charge the morphers have," he said carefully. The implication of his words was clear: don't waste it.

[oopsimaranger]

"Ah, right. Well, can't we just find a way to recharge them?" Like plugging those suckers into a wall or something. Ziggy really didn't know how they worked.

"Wait, does that mean there are things to fight here? Dillon?" Totally not worried except he was.

Enis paused and thought about it. After a moment she nodded her head as if the information had been processed and saved during her silence.

"So you listen even if it doesn't affect you. What if they don't stop talking?" She'd have to leave at some point.

Your cars?

[Okay, Andros knew what a car was. He just wasn't sure what it had to do with being a Ranger unless.....Ziggy's team was like his ex-Turbo rangers? They used vehicles for inspiration?]

Your zords? They're cars?

[Why yes, he was very impressed. Cars vs. Space ship. So impressed.]

The have really big goof anime looking eyes on them.

Andros would probably love her team. None of them would try and hug him. He stood in front of his ship, damn proud of it. Now if only he could get it off the ground, that'd be excellent.

"This is it. The Astro Megaship. We can talk here safely. I assume Zordon wants you to keep everything a secret?" Because she was from earth, and it was Zordon. He wasn't sure how many people on these islands could hack the network or would want too but, it was best to be safe. Even so, he wasn't sure how long a secret like hers would last in a place like this. It was so small. Secrets had a way of getting out.

[Now Andros was lost again. Sorry Ziggy, alien. You're talking to someone who had to be told that bananas needed to be peeled first.]

"Then at least let them know that you're leaving, but try not to let them know that's why. Make an excuse or something." It was a lie, but it was a polite one. That maybe made it a little better?

"I can stop talking if you'd prefer."
