Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, Eurus, and now Nidus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your home world to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Trouble!: All is quiet and calm when suddenly the warning signals across each of the islands sound. Not long after, or, at least only long enough to get prepared, a large hydra creature crawling out of the lake on Imber. Do what you can to help remove this threat before it gets to any of the other islands!

5. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Hum...?" Glancing back at the vases for a moment he nodded, "Oh, yes. It was just a bit of time manipulation."

He then held out his arm for Trey to climb onto and then onto his shoulder. Like a cat he curled around Alec's neck, flicking his wings closed and chirruping.

"And yes, I suppose he's mine. He certainly thinks I belong to him." A small joke, much like any cat owner.

She thought about all of the things she could ask. Things that would prove just what he did or didn't know about what had been going through her mind when she left since he'd claimed to not always stay out of her head as he'd promised. But that would be reopening an old wound, one scarred over from time and distance. And even if she'd needed those answers, this wasn't the time or place to dig into something like that.

"Who was I pretending to be the very first time we met?"

She'd told Erik this story and, by extension, possibly Emma, but neither were in a position to have shared that even if there'd been a reason. But there was a possibility that someone who knew what she could do could guess. It wasn't like there'd been a bevy of adult figured in Charles' life. So she added the next question.

"And what did I offer to get you to go back to bed?"

Charles smiled at the memory, grateful that Raven had chosen that instead of the myriad of other things that she could ask. "My mother, and you offered me hot chocolate. I knew it wasn't you because my mother would never offer such things."

He looked off to the side before looking back. "You couldn't have known how neglected I was though. Believe me?"

So he knew about Peter. Either Peter had told him or he'd figured it out on his own. To be fair, she hadn't been exactly discreet about their connection when it came to the students and one of them might have let it slip to Erik assuming he knew already. But still...

"That wasn't the child I was referring to," she said softly. Although it did bring up an interesting point she'd never known about him. She'd never quite realized how many children he had. There was Peter and she'd heard something about a sister. Then there was the daughter who'd recently died. And now another, older daughter. It boggled the mind the things she didn't know about him.

"Or the family."

"All look like they could be from Leadworth if it came down to it. River has blond, The Doctor brown, Rory has one of those weird colors that could be dark blond or light brown. It's weird."

But she loved it anyway.

"They all look about my age, more or less. And given one of them is my kid, and another is like..900... and the other one is over two thousand, give or take a few thousand years, not sure which of those answers disturbs me more."

"You mean the family in Poland." It doesn't surprise him that she knows about that. It seems everyone knows more about him than he does.

He doesn't really want to talk about it, but he's always felt more able to talk to Raven about things than he has to most others. Even Charles, back in the time when they got along easily. "I thought, for awhile, that maybe Charles was right. That it could be that easy. In the end all that happened was it got them killed."

He was definitely still staring. "Time manipulation?" That was something he was pretty sure did not exist in his world, even with all the various psychic abilities people had. "It looked more like... more like..." He wanted to say telekinesis, but he glanced around a bit apprehensively, still so used to keeping things like that under wraps that he was still afraid to say it out loud. "Are you sure it's a good idea to just walk around and... do something like that?"

His gaze moved to the little dragon, hesitating a bit before asking tentatively, "Where did you find him...?"

It does look like telekinesis but Alec isn't a telekentic, just an empath. In this particular case it just looked like telekentic in this particular instance. Titling his had at the hesitation he shrugged a little. "Yeah. Time manipulation. I froze it and then reversed it in a small area."

The next question sort of makes him blink before figuring the guy might be from a world where powers are supposed to be hidden. Alec could never get the hang of those worlds. Also he never met a bad idea he didn't like. "Yes...? Why not?"

Grinning a little with a bit of a mischievous smirk, he said, "I found a nest on a beach and took the egg while the Queen was away."

Visually, he did give the impression that he was attempting to, well, get a bit up close and personal with the statue. It was his reaction though that did have Padmé thinking that he wasn't trying to feel it up. A small smile played against her lips, as his explanation really didn't help his cause any.

"I can try. Perhaps if I can push it and move it a little, you can wiggle free?"

Think someone else could be persuaded towards it?

"Them being afraid? Maybe. That stunt you pulled with the president didn't do you any favors. But what that fear led them to do? That's just human--" She pulled a face. "--And mutant nature. I remember hating what I was afraid of: myself." She didn't say that it was an accident. She'd hope that no one would kill a child intentionally, mutant or not, but she'd seen too much to ever believe that.

She looked at his granddaughter and felt a soft pang. No matter what he said, he always seemed to end up ahead. He lost one family and gained another. And she... No, she wouldn't go there.

"So you ended up here, too. Do we know where 'here' is?"

[Sorry, Raven; he's from a world where there are mutant-like people, people with varying psychic abilities but no actual mutants or schools for them.]

"No, I suppose not. I'm just not sure how else to explain it," he said apologetically. It is hard to explain something he knew about for all his life; like colors to a blind man.

Maybe. Someone who's been here longer, I'd think. They'd know what people want.

What an odd assortment she must be looking for. Louis only stops to nod at the woman, trying not to show too much skepticism. "Whatever you say."

Her descriptions didn't bother him at all and Lous simply shrugged. No matter how complicated and convoluted her explanation might be, it would probably still make sense within a vampiric timeline. "However old they are, then, we'll seek them out."

She nodded. Whoever this was, they were suddenly being awfully helpful. Rory would just accept that, she knew. He was that sort himself. The Doctor was also that sort but would find it suspicious, even if he acted like he didn't. Amy... was more like the Doctor that way. So she kept her suspicions to herself, but her eyes open as they searched.

Thorfinn was making his way to work, running a little behind but thankfully his boss was a pretty cool guy so he wasn't exactly worried beyond his own need to be punctual. He was walking along the streets when Sylvi, his young pet wolf seemed to catch a scent and took off running. "Fucking, DAMNIT!" He shouted as Sylvi took off. Thorfinn surounded himself with supernatural beings without really realizing it at first, Sylvi had started to notice friends smelled different than most people and it was Seth's scent she had caught. A NEW exciting smell!

The young she wolf arrived beside the small woman and gave a playful bark swaying her tail as she did. Thorfinn was pushing through the crowds trying to get to the wolf, praying she hadn't burst into the bakery again.

If there was ever one weakness Seth had beyond her empire it was animals. While she may have been content judging the quality of products around her, the small wold gets her attention immediately. "Hey there cutie." she was happy to oblige in giving Sylvi some nice ear scratches.

"What brings you to little old me, I wonder." more absent minded musing than actually asking the wolf. It wasn't like she expected an actual response. Given the oddness that came with her arrival surely chatting with a wolf wasn't too odd.

That's an idea. As long as this place can get a real respectable tea shop going I'd call this place okay.

"It's worth a try." Anything was worth a try. Especially if anyone else came over and thought he was so desperate he was feeling up a statue.

"Just say when you're ready."
