Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? ~~Even if you have been stolen away from your homeworld to a bunch of floating islands~~.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

It probably said something that someone suddenly appearing, apparently out of nowhere, didn't bother Thomas anymore. He'd spent way too much time around his little brother. Funny, a few years ago, he'd have given anything to do just that. Harry...was a lot of trouble.

Then the suddenly appeared stranger seemed not only to know his brother, but to know he was his brother, or at least something akin to it. Bonus? Harry was here. Somewhere. Not-so-great? It was apparently difficult to hide things from this guy.

So, when in doubt, go with the classics. Thomas offered Gabriel a pleasant, if slightly confused smile.

"Do you always say hi that way? What wizard are you talking about?"

Gabriel smiles although it doesn't reach his eyes. "If his brother hadn't put a leash on him, the last vampire to show up would have gotten a lot worse than being told if his family didn't handle him, I would. He decided the best way to go about things was to attack people on his arrival."

Consider yourself lucky, buddy.

Then Gabriel's giving him a long look with raised eyebrows. "A certain Harry Dresden. Guy ridiculously tall, knows an Archangel from your universe, worked with a guy who did work for Heaven before retiring--good on him managing to get to retire--, do-gooderish, and with an allergy to the name Merlin. Any of that ringing any bells?"

He knows damn well it should.

"I don't attack people." It just wasn't White Court style, more than anything. They were a group of people that made death look like a drug.

This guy knew he was a vampire, knew a lot about Harry...Harry must have mentioned him, but that didn't tell Thomas who this guy was, and it didn't exactly put him at ease, either. That didn't mean the newly appeared stranger needed to know that.

He gave Gabriel a nod. "Gandalf on PCP, that's Harry." He offered a pale hand. "I'm Thomas."

"Gabriel," he says, accepting the handshake. "Yes, that one. Harry's reaction was that he hadn't had enough to drink yet to be dealing with me."

Cue Gabriel more or less laughing at him. Also, have an explanation on how he knows the things he does just looking at you, Thomas.

That one? He takes a moment for one thing to connect to another as he shakes the archangels hand.

Oh, Empty Night, he just shook an archangel's hand. He swallowed, but it was the only indication that something might have occurred to him. Well, that and the sweaty palms.

"That...sounds like a good reaction. I'll put it on the list after 'accept you're not in Kansas anymore'."
