Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Lorelai Gilmore | Gilmore Girls
Initially she walked past the bench. Then backtracked and walked past it again, looking closely. The person sitting there looked a bit like Jess but an older version of him. She backtracked yet again and walked past slowly, watching him to try and figure out what exactly was going on now.
Re: Lorelai Gilmore | Gilmore Girls
"Do you want me to say hi now, or do you want to keep circling?" Jess kept the book open, his gaze half caught between Lorelai and the words below.

"Circling? I was not circling. This just happens to be my normal walking route, here on this weird floating island that I've never been to before."
no subject
Jess gave her a lopsided grin, probably reminiscent of Luke. Jess definitely looked older, more rugged, the more he grew up the more he started to look like his uncle. Which, well, things could be worse? As for Lorelai, she looked like she hadn't changed since he was a teenager. Which, he knew for a fact was completely incorrect, having just stayed at your house. Creepy. This island was so damn creepy.
"Nice to see you again Lorelai." He glanced down at her hands for the ring. No ring. So fucking weird. "You look good."
no subject
Well, no, not really. In fact, Lorelai felt anything but zen right now. This Jess-like person was just there and part of him sounded and acted like the real Jess, but there was also something completely different about him, and she didn't just mean his age.
"Okay, subconscious, you win this round," she muttered. "I have no damn clue what you're trying to tell me now." Because this has to be a dream, right?
no subject
"I'm real, Lorelai. This isn't a dream or a lack of coffee induced hallucination."
Sure, at first he thought that the tea he drank at Liz and TJ's place might not have actually been tea, but he was pretty sure this was real. He was going to tell her he was sorry he missed their wedding, but, she looked so damn young.
no subject
But how the hell could this be real?
"No, no, that doesn't make any sense. You, well ... just look at you! You're my age. That's just not how it works."
no subject
"I was supposed to stop aging? I didn't realize that, think there's a money back guarantee?" He pushed himself up off the bench and slid the book into his back pocket.
"Come on. You need coffee."
no subject
no subject
"Hey," He put his hands up, smiling, "Last time I saw you, everyone was age appropriate. You looked great then too, by the way." It was definitely weird, talking to Lorelai like this. His Lorelai Gilmore was fine with him, but this Lorelai? She looked younger.
"I saw a place over there. And Rory's fine. Sookie's fine. Luke's fine. Everyone's fine. Just...older."
He idly wondered if that was the longest sentence Lorelai had heard him put together lately.
no subject
"Coffee? Where?" That's the only thing that can fix this.
no subject
"Have you ever overdosed on caffeine or are you just immune by now?"
