Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your homeworld to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Mostly I just wanted to see if there was anything I could help you with, as far as settling in, and the like." He cleared his throat.

"I've made a few contacts."

"No. I've found employment and that is all I really need." She looked down at her papers and sighed. "What are you doing for a living?"

"I bartend, and I also have been running a few rotating games. I don't have to do anything at all, really as far as cheating. Most of them love games of chance but are terrible at it. By being careful, I've been increasing my cash slowly."

He grinned at her.

That sounded about right. Emma wondered if she would find something to channel her desire for power into. Surely there was no need for a team of mutant vigilantes here.

Teaching would have to suffice for now. "Where do you bartend?"

"Here and there as a pitch hitter. And at a new place over on Nidus." He had seen advantages to that set up.

"Nidus. That's the island that showed up recently, correct?" This place was almost as strange as home.

"Yep. That's the one. It was an over the top dramatic thing done by the islands or powers that be. I think I even know why it happened how it did." He shook his head.

"This place is as weird as home is."

"So it seems," Emma said with a sigh. "Which island do you live on?"

"Eurus. I'm sharing a house with Noriko, currently. Neither of us, after our previous accommodations, really feels quite right alone." He smiled lopsidedly.

"Where've you been assigned?"

"Mulciber. I'm having a bit of difficulty being alone as well. It's been over a year since I've slept alone, and much longer than that since I last lived alone."

She sighed softly, allowing herself the luxury of a moment of self-pity. She missed Scott desperately.

Remy nodded. "My starter home was there, but Noriko and I ran into one another within a week of my arrival." He nodded.

"Well, I don't live there, but there is another place you could go where I would be at least once or twice a day, and that is the Starjammer."

"Don't take this the wrong way, because if I meant to offend you I'd be much more brutal, but you're not the company I was hoping for."

Still, the idea had merit.

"I'll think on it. After seeing Scott's mind I at least want to see it in person."

Remy chuckled. "I am sure that is so, chere'. Remy don' take it personal. You got your priorities."

Remy nodded again, and rose. "Then I'll leave you to it. If you'd like some company let me know."

Emma nodded and returned to her grading. It was good to know that she wasn't the only person from home, even if Remy wasn't the first on the list of people she wanted to see at the moment.
