Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? ~~Even if you have been stolen away from your homeworld to a bunch of floating islands~~.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"We've got these," said Yayoi, holding up a key. "You should have gotten one when you got off the boat, it's a key to a starting home! It's not much, there's a months worth of stuff there before we get a job."

"True, but..."

Eiji rubs at the back of his head. Just being given a home is completely new to him still. He's used to just finding wherever.

"Do you not know where it is?" asked Yayoi curiously.

She was wondering why he was being a bit awkward at the idea of being given a home.

"It's just...it's kind of weird, if you're traveling and suddenly end up with your own place. It's not something I'm used to, anyway. Not without doing something to pay for it, at least."

He's the last one to try to ask for a favor, and this feels uncomfortably like freeloading for him.

"Mmm, kind of. Most people wouldn't argue with the concept, but this place had the need to take us away from where we were before." Yayoi shrugged a little with a shake of her head.

"Maybe there's something you can to do earn a place for yourself for the time being?"

"So it's a matter of figuring out what whoever's in charge he wants?" That's kind of a familiar song and dance for him.

"Well...I guess I can hold out for a little bit until I find something. I mean, I have my underwear for tomorrow, and it's usually not hard to get some food, so I don't think I'll need much..."

"Maybe. I'm not too sure who is actually in charge." Remarked Yayoi with a shake of her head.

She giggled. "You sound like a traveling hero with that."

"I don't know about hero...I mostly just do whatever I can." Aww, look at him blushing!

"But I am a traveler! Been one for a while, really. I mean, I took a break for about a year or so, but I did get back to it and all."

Yayoi giggled at his bashfulness and nodded. "I completely understand. I've got a few senpai who are kind of like you. Sort of just embarrassed about things."

"But that's good. How are you managing that, can I ask?"

"Oh, no, I'm not embarrassed!" Not that he's not still a little pink as he waves his hands. "Just...I don't think I really qualify, you know?"

Travel. Travel is nice and safe and easy to talk about. "It's pretty good, though I guess it's challenging for most people to get their minds around. My grandpa used to take me with him when I was little, so I got used to living off of very little everywhere from a young age. I guess it's kind of like camping, but everywhere."

Or being perpetually homeless, but he makes it sound so much nicer.

"Mmm, well, you never know," said Yayoi with a little grin.

Nodding at his explanation, she smiled a bit. "Travel sounds wonderful. I've been planning on doing so, when I finish my manga. The end of the publication is coming up soon, and I need a break."

"Really? I knew someone who tried to publish a book once--it's hard, isn't it?"

"It's very hard. I've had trouble with getting my ideas out, and work towards the ending but..." Yayoi sighed deeply.

"To be honest, this place might be the break I'm looking for. I've been floundering with ideas as of late."

"Maybe. Where were you thinking about going anyway, before you ended up here?"

"Dunno. Go visit my father, before taking a trip somewhere. I have enough money to be honest, but it feels like I'm hitting a wall somewhere." Admitted Yayoi.

"I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out. He'd probably really appreciate seeing you too."

Poor, naive boy.

Oh poor guy. She nodded, despite her smile and said, "I'm sure he'll be glad to see me."

"And I'll check in with mom before I go."

"It's really nice that you've still got such a good relationship with them, even though you're so far apart."

"Yeah. Sometimes I wonder if I don't but then I remember their love and support. Dad named me after all."

He nods.

"They definitely, definitely love you. Something like that is really hard to fake."

Awww Eiji was making her blush. Instead she giggled.

"Thanks. I'm glad you think so. They are great to me."

He nodded back with a grin, even if he was definitely not bringing up his own family.

Yeah.

"You want to get lunch? I can treat you, as payment for making me feel better."

"Oh, no, you don't have to!"

He's almost frantically waving his arms. It doesn't matter how much things have changed; he still feels so weird when people just do nice things for him.

Yayoi laughed mirthfully as she grinned.

"Really it's on me. Unless you wanna go halves? I mean, I was feeling down for a while and I feel like I owe you for perking my spirits up."
