Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your homeworld to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Eight? I only knew about six." Don't ask how he knows, either.

Are there two more Winter Soldiers out there?

"The other two died before anything got started." Sinthia had panicked with those two.

"Do you know about the factory in Krasberg?" she asks. More accurately she should be asking this in past tense, but it's very real and very present for her. She's still in it.

"What factory?" He knows a few of HYDRA's secrets, but they didn't let him in on everything. It's possible that he knows what she's talking about and doesn't know it.

"It...might have been a long time ago. I don't know when you're from," she says cautiously. "But it's where I was before I was here."

"I know about a place in Siberia." Which is probably the safest place in the world to put a stash of Winter Soldiers. It's much less likely that someone will stumble on them by accident, or that they'll escape and go on a rampage.

"I don't know about Siberia. The farthest east I've been was Switzerland. In the mountains," she says, and shrugs.

She will be far, far more familiar with Russia later in life, though.

"That factory, that's where you were?" He figures that's why she's asking about it. Maybe trying to find something else they share.

"Yes," she says. "There was an isolation ward in the factory where they would take soldiers. That's where I was."

She doesn't really elaborate on why, or what she was doing. She dislikes speaking about it and senses her companion would dislike hearing about it even more, considering she was the reason no soldier ever came back from said ward. "I don't remember all their faces. But I think that's why you looked familiar, there was one who looked like you."

"There was a soldier who looked like me?" There are things here that he doesn't understand either, but he's trying to. He wishes he could, because then maybe he could make some sense of all of this.

"A little. Shorter hair," she said. "And he had a less severe expression...maybe a less square face." She hadn't paid that much attention.

Sinthia shrugged. "They all start to blur in my head. They only ever said their names and a serial number, I never got to really talk to them."

"His name. The one who looked like me, do you remember his name?" It's a long shot, he figures, but it's something that he feels he needs to know.
abyssum_invocat: (child are you kidding?)

Sinthia looks down in concentration at that, brows furrowing as she tries to remember. "...John? Maybe James. It started with that sound. I remember the number better. 32257038."

Sergeant. 32257 -- The day that Steve had found him. The factory that they'd barely made it out of alive.

That man, the one he now knows as Red Skull, is that who her father is?

"I have to go."

He's not falling into Hydra's hands again.

Unfortunately, yes. He is, and she is exactly who and what Bucky is probably thinking right now, but she hasn't been fully erased yet, still has a personality of her own.

She wishes she could say she didn't understand the terse statement obviously meant to end the conversation, and merely sighs. There's often very little arguing that will help when someone is willing to disrupt talking with a sentence like that. "Oh. Alright." This conversation has lasted longer than most: Sinthia supposes she can be happy about that progress.

He notes the disappointment, but this is a risk he can't take. There might not be anyone from Hydra here now, but that doesn't mean they won't be, and he can't risk associating with anyone connected to them in any way, even if they're an experiment too.

"I'm sorry." He is still Bucky right now, after all, and capable of being human. This isn't about her.

"It's okay. I understand." It's such a deceptively simple answer, and full of unadulterated acceptance; she does indeed know how pervasive that fear and wariness are. She lives with them. "I live in the village on Mundus. If you ever feel safe going there."

He nods. "Maybe." He can't say one way or the other right now. This whole place is still too new, full of too many unknown factors.

"My name is Barnes. Bucky Barnes." So now she at least has an idea of how to get in touch with him if she wants to. She's still one of Hydra's victims.
