Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"What is this place? It's definitely not Kalona." She walked up to her, standing at a comfortable distance for conversation. It seems that she's retained the mannerisms of humans, aside from occasionally sniffing the air.

She really wished she was in the habit of keeping a bottle of Yabarah with her. Sadly, there was no source for it here, and she had little room in her personal storage. But if the other needed blood, she could offer that, at least.

Her face contorts into a look of great pain and grief, and she looks away for a moment. "Even I'm a vector for the disease to spread. Whoever decided to bring me here has no care or respect for the lives of these people!" She snarls at that, sounding suddenly much more like a Romero film extra than a human being, but she quickly regains her composure.

And confused. The woman smelled dead. Wasn't she dead? Well, no matter what, Jaenelle would know. There was no darker healer than Jaenelle Angeline.

And maybe Jaenelle would know why she smelled dead.

"Jaenelle might have some Yarbrah at the house," she said, turning to lead the way.
Maybe a Guardian, rather than one of the dead? That could explain the psychic scent and the malady.

She sighed, hanging her head. "I don't want to go back to the way I was, though. As...terrible as it sounds, this has given me so much freedom. I don't want to lose it."

She sighs, shaking her head. The more the other woman talked, the less Elena understood. "I'm a normal person who's contracted a very serious disease. Everyone else who has gotten it has died. I don't understand why I didn't. Once someone infected with this disease dies, their body gets up and tries to eat everything. And I mean everything--animals, people, children--anything with meat they tear to pieces. I need to find out why that didn't happen to me, and use that to keep it from happening to anyone else."
Sorry this took so long. Life got in the way a lot, and a canon review took longer than expected
"And as for earth, if you mean loam and soil, yes, Queens are from the earth."
No worries!

"I'll have to have quite the job, to be able to afford enough meat to feed myself regularly..." At least she doesn't have to sleep!

After her little feeding frenzy, she hung her head. "I-I'm sorry... I hate that I'm like this..." It was utterly humiliating. In a way, it was actually easier living in the post-apocalyptic waste she came from--when people died every day, eating them was a matter of keeping the waste from bringing disease. Chewing through an entire dinner party's worth of meals offered to her by someone kind...that was ridiculous.
