Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!

2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!

3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right? Even if you have been stolen away from your homeworld to a bunch of floating islands.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Airy listed to the other woman's suggestion and stood perfectly still. She didn't think it would last long since her mind had the tendency to wander. She chewed on her bottom lip a little nervously before speaking again.

"I haven't actually drank anything yet." She looked just barely old enough to buy alcohol and more than a few people have offered but Airy had no idea what to drink or what she'd like so she ended up politely denying.

"Do you like parties like this?"

Oops. "Sorry, I just assumed," Caroline said quickly. "Guess I got what I deserved for doing that."

She looked around at the party scene. "I usually do. I've got a lot on my mind tonight and thought coming out might help distract me. It's working okay so far, so I guess I that is a yes, I like parties like this."

Airy quickly shook her head. "No, you're find. I don't always pay attention to things..." It was her own fault and she promptly blamed herself.

"I'm..." She paused, biting her lower lip. "I'm trying to distract myself too honestly. I want to have fun but I've never done anything like this." She really was trying but with this sort of setting she didn't know where to start.

Maybe she did need to drink.

"Well, why don't we help each other be distracted then," Caroline offered. "What sort of fun have you done before?"

"Define fun. Okay- Not very much." She admitted with a bit of a nervous smile. "I want to try something new."

Caroline nodded - she definitely understand that feeling. "Okay then, what do you want to try? And does it include the include any balancing abilities?" She smiled, hoping the girl wouldn't take offence at that.

Airy felt her smile widen. "Maybe not balancing. I do know how to dance... which might help my coordination." It was hit or miss. Airy couldn't really take offense considering how they'd met each other.

Dancing wouldn't have been Caroline's first suggestion but what the hell. "Okay, sure. Why don't we find a place with some room and you can show me your moves?"

"Ah, that sounds like I should be worried." Airy smiled though. She'd give it a try, it was the best she could do.

"Either you or the people around you," Caroline agreed with a grin. "But don't worry, I can catch you if you fall. Or anyone else, for that matter."

Airy laughed before nodding her head. "Alright, let's go." She hoped that she didn't hurt those around her or look too awkward. She knew how to dance enough to get by and how to swing her hips and she was going to try her best to do that now.

"And thank you. For catching me or not... since I haven't... let's go."

Caroline headed towards a spot on the dance floor that wasn't occupied. "This looks like as good a place as any."

She wondered if she was making a bit too much of this no balance thing. After all, the girl had only run into two people in the middle of a party.

Airy slipped up behind Caroline, making her way to the slightly empty space. She loved this song though Airy loved a lot of music. She felt her smile widen and her eyes slip closed as she fell into the beat of the music. Her hips swayed and while she wasn't the most skilled dancer it was obviously something she loved. Airy also had significantly more coordination when dancing than she didn't on her own.

After a few seconds her eyes opened and she held out her hand to Caroline as an invitation to dance with her.

So far, so good. No one was getting run into and actually the girl's dancing was pretty good too. Caroline took her hand and joined in. "I'm Caroline, by the way."

Airy smiled at her, it was a lot easier to be comfortable while dancing. "I'm Airy. It's nice to have run into you." Though she still feels bad about it.

"Nice to be run into," Caroline replied, with a grin. "Have you been here long?"

Airy shook her head. "No but it isn't so bad." Mostly because she'd been running away and now she's run as far as she can pretty much go.

Caroline found that hard to believe, though she supposed it depended on what exactly you'd left behind. "That's good to know, though I must admit, I'd still rather not be here. Not because of you, or anything, but there are people back home who need me."
