Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Why would it not take me home?" Of course, they're on an isle. Realization dawned on her. "So I need to barter with the sailors to allow me back onto the boats instead of being on a horse. And I hardly think York is a different world. Some of the people are a bit...odd."
She set her delicate goblet down carefully and turned her attention back to him. "I will free all of us of this sorcerer's grasp," she said quietly. "I will give it my damnedest to get us all out of here."

"I have a feeling you've never seen things like this before have you?" He wasn't going to fight her on the fact that this was another world but he'd try and help. She'll find out soon enough.

Artis sat up straighter when he reached into his pockets and backed a little in case he had pulled out something one should not pull out before a lady. Then he placed strange things on the table. The first was the relic that she had been handed upon arrival, that she promptly threw into the sea. The other had a click that he caused. It was certainly something she'd never seen before.
Her fists clenched on the table, short nails scratching into the wood. No. She would find a way home. Her father would send search parties.

Gus grabbed the phone and held it up for her to see. "This is a phone. You use it to talk to people." He then pocketed it and held up his gun. "This is a gun and you shot it." Usually at people.
"It's a weapon." He slipped the black metal and plastic into the holster beneath his jacket. "If you want to try and find conventional ways home you're welcome to but it won't work."
He wasn't happy to tell her as much.

Her jaw clenched as her window of opportunity closed more and more around her.
"I have a kingdom to rule over. It is my birthright to inherit the throne of Camelot. I can't be here."
Her hands clenched as well, white knuckled in its grips. No. She refused to take this. So he had a weapon that she had not seen before. So what? She relaxed her grip and took a deep breath. Forces were against her here.

She needed to accept her situation though Gus wouldn't force it. Instead he just ordered another drink.

"Time. Stops?" she asked. Of all things she had been told, this was the one that was the hardest to believe. The goblet of wine was starting to look better and better by the second. A world where the land flew; where time stopped at home; with people from all over coming forth by an unknown and unseen force.

Gus waved at the bartender who placed another drink on the counter for him. He pushed himself from the table giving the woman time to think. When he returned he was already taking a sip of his glass.
"How are you doing?" He might as well ask.

Artis was still holding onto the base of the delicate goblet, staring intently into her glass of wine. She couldn't give up. She had been on the brink of death so many times and returned.
"I'm going home," she replied, voice low and serious. Come hell or high water, she would get home.

Gus wondered why he cared. If she was going to be so reckless then he should let her but his mothers voice echoed in his head and told him that he had to do something. He exhaled a slow breath.
"Look, ask the phone. A lot of people are looking to find their way home. When they do we'll all get home. You can work with them."
