Welcome to Medietas! Do you have an interest in joining the game? Is there an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, perhaps you're looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do! If you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see and do!
2. Islands: There is definitely some weirdness going on around the islands from the sidewalks that glow to the mysterious energy that doesn't seem to have any direct source. There are statues that hum softly and seem to grow every so often. And what is with these bridges? Go forth and investigate! Puzzles are FUN!
3. PARTY: Every month or so there's always a celebration somewhere, be it on Mulciber, Imber, Mundus, or Eurus! Eat, drink, dance, talk among the other islanders. It's about making new friends and enjoying yourself, right?
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

More powerful than a sorcerer? But his words caught her attention.
"What do you mean what some of you are?" she asked carefully.
This wasn't a situation in which she could call for a swords or charge into battle, brandishing a weapon of sorts. She couldn't count on the steadfastness of Leon or any of her knights to come take up arms with her. Here, she was on her own. Completely. She'd done it before. Faced off beasts and sorceresses on her own before. She could do it again.

In other words, she's been a bit shirty with an Archangel.
"So, since we're sharing names, who are you?"
no subject
"Certainly not what I was expecting of an archangel. I am Artis Pendragon, daughter of Uther Pendragon, and Crown Princess to Camelot."
Slightly less impressive than an archangel but a title nonetheless. Though that did give her pause for thought. What sort of place was this to be able to steal away a supposed archangel of the Lord?
no subject
"Seriously?" He looks back up. "You'll probably be fun for Merlin to handle, given his version is a man named Arthur. He's from well after your time, and given there are people from multiple universes here, may not even be your version of him anyway."
no subject
"Multiple universes?" Archangels walking among men? Gabriel was right in this went far beyond a simple sorcerer.
no subject
Gabriel pauses for a moment. "I realize it's not that minor to you, but in the grand scheme of things, it is."
no subject
Artis mentally shook herself: a sword. She needed a sword. She needed rope. She needed a dagger, blankets, provisions. A horse didn't seem necessary with how she was on an isle that appeared to be floating.
no subject
Gabriel shrugs a little. "None of them is anyone I know from home, so there's no 'but you're supposed to be...!' from me."
no subject
"Lucky you," she all but snorted. There were others, potentially, that were here from her world as well. "Besides...Merlin, you haven't seen anyone else from Camelot?" she asked carefully. Perhaps she needed to talk to this Merlin. No relation, perhaps, and possibly every bit a dull servant as he was in her world.

Not necessarily with any detail beyond 'so and so is here', but it would at least be a mention.
Anyway, another detail. That being the phone he's still holding out to her. "Would you take this thing? It won't bite and it's not magic. People have become better at making things since your time. You can use it to talk to people without having to go out and find them to speak to them in person."
no subject
"You are from the future, then, if you mean to say that people have become better at making things." She barely dangled the phone by her fingers. "Why would you not wish to speak to someone in person?"
no subject
Would she really have wanted to be stuck in her house alone with no one to talk to because she risked becoming a block of ice if she tried to leave?
no subject
"Then one would dig out of the snow to reach another person."
Artis knew this was a losing argument of sorts. But with magic so rampant and so casual as this Gabriel was saying, she might need to tread carefully.
