Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
Belle | Once Upon A Time
[The boat ride had been a bit jarring, to say the least. While she was unbothered by the boat and being at see, it was the fact that she was traveling to parts unknown that made her worry. Rumplestiltskin had entrusted her with protecting Storybrooke while he and the others traveled by boat themselves and it was a poor way to keep to that job if she was being sent off and away.
Upon reaching the shore and being given a map, Belle begins to explore while also being mindful of others who might also be lost. She wanted to help, after all. This wasn't Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest but she was far from helpless.]
Chapter Six Bookstore
[Anyone wandering about would be surprised to see someone unfamiliar already making themselves right at home in the book store. Already she had a good sized pile sprawled out on a table, thumbing through each one as she tried to immerse herself in this new world. She wanted to learn its secrets and... maybe see what they had for a romance or adventure novel or two. Having yet to see a familiar face and giving up looking for the moment, Belle's last refuge was this distraction.
She had come to the conclusion on her own that she was the only one here and the others had safely arrived in Neverland. At least that was what she tried to tell herself.]

As he browsed the shelves, he noticed someone familiar but also new. Smiling, he headed over there. This would be interesting depending on her timeline point. Especially when Grandpa found her considering his.]
Belle! [He stood there, saying nothing else, looking older than she would expect, but with his usual grin on his face.]

Henry?
[Pushing herself to her feet, Belle takes him in once he steps closer. She had no idea about timelines or confusing things like that, or that Rumplestiltskin and others were present on the islands. For now, Henry was enough.]
Wh- how?
[This was not how she imagined some grand reunion to be like.]
no subject
[Because it wasn't Belle if she didn't have a million questions about any given subject.]
Though I do have to ask...what's the last thing you remember before waking up on the boat?
no subject
[But what remained of him and the others?]
If you're here - is Rumple here? Where are the others?
no subject
Sort of...The thing is...time works a little weird here. People can come in from different points in time. You're from my past.
no subject
Is it some sort of curse?
[She's not the most experienced in magic but she's read enough about it.]
no subject
[He realised he was probably too okay with the situation and decided to go on to more important things. He took a deep breath and said it all rather quickly.]
Grandpa is here but he's from before the curse was broken. Dad is here but he's from before he met me and my mom, Emma, is here too somewhere.
no subject
[Wow. That would leave them a lot of catching up to do... but then he called him Grandpa so that meant Henry told him, right? Why was this all so confusing?]
I'll be careful what I tell him. I don't want him to worry about the future.
[Because who knows what he'd do about it. Everyone already had come to mistrust him but she would never dream of it. Not after everything they'd been through.]
no subject
[He smiled but it was tinged with sadness. Everything went to shit after the Pan stuff.] Thanks Belle. You're the best, you know?

Belle?

[She wasn't as frantic as she'd been on the boat, just drifting along until she reached shore. It made her less anxious having a familiar face, even if it wasn't Rumplestiltskin.]

We're in a place called Medietas. And that's about all anyone knows about it. We don't know why we're here, or how, or who's responsible for bringing us here. Or how to get home again.
no subject
And Storybrooke? Is everyone alright there?

[The only thing she could think that would possibly be good about this situation was having Rumple here with her and yet her father wasn't here. Their friends weren't here. What could they possibly do to go back?]
no subject
[Which she's hoping they would do.]
No one even seems to know how we got here.

He stopped that train of thought before it could go much further and silently debated if he should go make his presence known. She would learn of him soon enough, best perhaps to let her know personally that he was here. Perhaps even apologize to her for his actions prior to making her leave his castle.
These chances to amend things with those dear to him had him wondering again just why whomever was responsible for this actually was doing it.
Gathering his resolve and what little courage he had, he made his way toward her and hoped his changed appearance didn't make this even harder than it already would be.]
Belle?

Rumple!! [She was content to hold him close and be held.]
I'm so glad you're here.
[ 'Let this be real, let him be real.']
I'm so glad you found me.
no subject
I'm glad you're here as well.
[More than words could really express, because the alternative was something he'd really rather not consider or dwell upon. But time to bite the bullet as it were and learn just from when Belle was from and then perhaps explain the matter of time being so malleable here.
Though there was the possibility she already knew that last part, and given her clothes, he wondered if she'd already been here for a time and he just hadn't been aware of it. Still, the matter of possible differing time frames should be addressed regardless.]
This may sound strange, but what is the last thing you remember before you arrived here?
no subject
[It's said automatically, though she realizes he might not even know about it yet. What was the last thing he remembered? It made her feel anxious all over again, that time she had been without her memory. There had been nothing - not of him or anyone else. Not until Regina had toyed with her to hurt him.
At least he knew her, that was enough. Surely that was enough for him too, considering so many other things that had come between them.]
You asked me to stay behind - to protect Storybrooke with a cloaking spell.

You--I--Regina... [He silenced himself before he made himself look more of a fool to collect his thoughts and try and put the pieces together.
The first being that Regina had flat out lied to him about Belle's demise. He was partially furious with her over that, but also in a small way angry at himself for accepting it as easily as he had. He should have looked into it, but he hadn't... he'd accepted it and moved on with his goal to reunite with his son, while nursing a grief and more regrets that he could have settled had he not bought Regina's tale so easily or completely.
He wondered just where Belle had been within the town during the curse. Regina no doubt had her tucked away out of his sight, so her falsehood wasn't revealed for the lie it was.
He gave her a quiet smile that held an undertone of sorrow and regret, yet he tried to sound reassuring and proud as he addressed her last statement.]
The town couldn't have been left in any better hands.
no subject
[Smiling fondly, she brushes her thumb over his cheek. It wasn't often she found him caught unaware. This was definitely hard for him and a lot to take in.]
We've been together ever since.
[She wouldn't tell him that Regina had come between them again - replacing her memories after she had lost them temporarily. She didn't want to remember her time as Lacey.]
You don't have to be afraid anymore, Rumple. You tried to push me away once but I never gave up on you. I never will.
[Leaning into him, she presses an earnest kiss to his lips.]
And maybe this place isn't so bad. You're here with me so I won't be afraid or worried either.
