Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!

3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

"Paleontology, technical science with machines and biochemistry. Most of it was towards my study on dinosaurs."

Kendall raised an eyebrow. "Rangers, as in Power Rangers? I hadn't heard of your work in the field, so we might be from similar worlds, unless you've come after my time. My world has a history of invasion and Rangers defending our planet."

So she was a sort of "mentor" to the Power Rangers? She hadn't heard of a team called Ranger Series, but she felt that it was probably something she was missing in her extensive study of Ranger history during college.

K just decides to ignore the actual science part of what Kendall has just said -- for now. It's definitely a conversation K wants to have. Right now, though, there's something more important to discuss.

"There's only one team of rangers in my world." Or rather, what's left of her world. "And they're my team. RPM. Our team leader traveled to another world once to chase down some of our enemies. He informed me he received help from a team of samurai rangers. Does that sound familiar to you?"

Kendall made a thoughtful face for a moment before nodding. "I do recall something along those lines. Information on the Samurai Rangers is a little scarce but I do recall there being a moment when there were two Reds of varying outfit styles in the news. Sort of car styled I assume?"

Unlike some of her contemporaries, the Dino Charge team had no outward support from the elder Rangers. So, essentially, Kendall was restricted to the news as of this moment. "I think I've heard of him briefly."

"You said left of your world. I take it your world has suffered from numerous attacks."

K nods. "Yes. That's him." Good thing Kendall pays attention. It makes this little Q&A session go by more easily.

And then-- yes. The inevitable questions about the state of the world as K and her team know it.

"It's devastated." K can't help the shadow that crosses her face. "A learning computer virus named Venjix wiped out the vast majority of the planet. As far as we know, our city is the last human city standing. I activated my team to protect it."

It's the least she can do.

Kendall recognizes that expression. It's a mixed expression of suppressed anger, guilt and a host of other emotions. She's seen it many times, and she holds her response. For someone as young as K to have survived that...

"That certainly sounds like a Ranger problem then. I wish your team well. From one mentor to another of people who need help and guidance." Encouragement. Don't dwell on the genocide of the world. Be tactful.

"I've done research into the Ranger equipment of what is publicly available back home. I could write some of it down, in case you would like to make improvements."
