Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

He could go on, Andros, like Billy, enjoyed gathering information. But, that was the short version.

"It really didn't like me poking around it either. Whatever it was it was powerful enough to disrupt my morph, apparently kill me and revive me a few hours later. And I've met a couple other rangers. Possibly members of your team. I'm not familiar with the other earth teams."
Andros knew he should mention Astronema, but he didn't want too. Not until he knew more about this ranger. Karone was still his sister, no matter what she did.
"Does that answer your questions?"
no subject
No, it couldn't be. She'd seen everyone at school earlier that day. So it couldn't be. To meet other Rangers from other groups, to work with them... She hated the circumstances, but when would she ever have a chance like this again?

Sure, Andros rushed in to situations when he was angry and emotional, but when he was calm, he was a good strategist. And always believed in having a plan. But to have plans, you need information. They were no good blind.
"Kimberly Hart and Billy Cranston. Do you know them?"
Andros really wasn't sure how to tell her this. She was obviously one of the teams before, well, before his space team. She didn't know what happened in the future. But he had to make clear one thing. "It's definitely not Rita. Besides, there's nothing overtly evil here. It's only fought back when I investigated too closely. "
no subject
"I'll help with the scanner," she said. She'd helped Billy before, she was used to working in a lab. Even one as insane as her uncle's. "But we can't take too long, our teams might be in trouble back home, might need us."
she would have said more, but then he said who was here, and her knees almost went out under her. Kim. Billy. In part she was relieved to not be here alone, to have her friends at her back and to be able to protect them, but if they were sent here to split the team up... the others could be in trouble. Big trouble.
She nodded. "We need to talk to them, they'll help." She was completely confident in that. It wasn't something she needed to check with them, she knew they would do all they could do to help with the escape, to free everyone stuck here.
"Are you certain it isn't Rita? She's seperated us before. And killing someone who was kidnapped for trying to find a way to get home sounds overtly evil to me," she pointed out.
no subject
"Your team might not know we're gone. If they do, they're looking for you. If they don't, then there's a time differential between this dimension and our own. Besides, it wont help them if we're caught without a plan. People have been here for months. So far, most people haven't been hurt, besides a few isolated incidents."
Andros was really missing the days when his team did what he said. Apparently Trini's team like democracy. "It's not Rita. Or any other threat you might be familiar with. They've been ....neutralized. They're no longer a threat."
no subject
If he had allowed her hand to make contact, she'd squeeze his arm gently. "If my team is looking for me, and yours for you, then that's all the more reason for us to get home as soon as possible. And we will get home. Together."
She let her hand drop, either way and study him. "What do you mean Rita is no longer a threat?" Rita has always been a threat.
no subject
"I appreciate the offer. I do my best work alone. I'll be there to help Billy though. Besides, I'm not from your planet. You're unfamiliar with my level of technology." Hey Trini, at least he didn't call you a pathetic monkey trying to use tools, cause, well, he could have. "KO-35 is much more advanced than Earth. You would need training. It would take too long." He had to train his own team, to catch them up. He didn't want to do it again.
"I'm from the year 1999. Things have changed. Rita's been taken care of."
no subject
1999. The future? But... They beat her that soon. This isn't forever. A few short years and the Earth would be safe. If... if he was right. But just thinking about that possibility made her smile. They could all go to college, have actual jobs, follow their passions, knowing the world was safe.
no subject
"You don't want to know about my world. You should count yourself lucky on Earth. KO-35 has had to deal with monsters attacks for much longer." Andros paused, and tried to start over, realizing he was being prickly. "Alright. What do you want to know?"
no subject
"Well, maybe we can come help for a while, after we get out of here. I'm sure Zordon will be okay with it, so long as he can bring us back." Except the whole future thing was kind of difficult. But she had faith in Zordon and Billy to figure it out.
no subject
It was kind of annoying.
"The people on my planet have trained since we were young. I tried to teach some members of my own team, but they never caught on. It might be limited to Karovans." Andros explained.
"I don't think we should be messing with time lines." Andros said, avoiding talking about Zordon. "You have your own future to deal with. I wouldn't want to put that at risk."
no subject
She nodded at what he said about the PK, but they could discuss that later, perhaps. She was more concerned with his seeming to feel like she wouldn't care about his problems for some reason.
"I could understand how we might risk the past, but the future is the future. Everything we do in the present impacts and changes our future, so going to the future should be no different. Billy would know for sure, of course, but I see no reason at all we can't help. Two teams of Rangers? Those monsters won't know what hit them."
no subject
"Alright. You're right. I'll....give it a chance. Give you a chance." He might have even smiled.
"I'm more concerned with you changing my past. I'm from 1999. It's my present. If you or any of the rangers from the past come in and help, the past could be changed. You're needed where you are. But, what I can do look into reaching out to other rangers, like yourself, in the present." It would be...difficult, but possible. Maybe. If they could get over what happened to Zordon, and if the Space team contacting them didn't blow their own cover. There was no reason why other teams had to have their identities blown just because the Space team revealed themselves. The reporters and fans made living life hard in general.

She gave him another warm smile, feeling happy suddenly.

"Good, if we have that part of the plan ready, let's work on the part that gets us all home, okay?"
She felt great. They had a plan, they were going to help.. and he was welcoming them to do so!
