Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

I'm guessing this is a timeline thing. You're from further on than I am, apparently. Which Earth are you from? How did you end up on mine?

[ He shook his head with a slight laugh. ] Yeah, I read all about that stuff. Gotta be sure I'm up to speed. [ A slow smile spread as he tapped his temple, pointing at the screen. ] Ah. Get it. Speed?
[ And some how he's given no actual answers to anything. At least not anything useful. ]
no subject
He snickers a bit at the impression.] Man, that was the worst Christopher Lloyd impression I've ever heard.
So, do you always skip around the answers to questions like this or are you just still in flustered newly displaced mode?
[Maybe he's just gun-shy or worried about spilling too much to the general public? Cisco switches the feed to private.]
Seriously, man, how'd you end up on my Earth?
[ Private ]
What? No. I answered! I totally gave you the-- [ He flailed his hands as if that would indicate something useful. ] I said it!
But don't you remember? You invited me! Well, not you. Not JUST you. You were definitely part of it, because you're the who can do anything. But you. And the very handsome Harrison Wells, not of your Earth. The beautiful Doctor Caitlin Snow. The brave and heroic Barry Allen. The intrepid Iris West. The bold maverick Walter West. The--wow. There's a lot of people in the lab, isn't there? But you were all there when I got there. Yup.

[ Was this a test? It felt like a test. Cisco really must think he was stupid, more than just not being a scientist levels. ]
...The other one had to go home. You know you never said why. He had to go, you needed another one. So. Ta-da. Here I am.
[ Private ]
So, when people show up here, they can kind of...not match up to what you know. It's just a thing this place does. Takes us all from different points in the timeline. [He waves a hand.] Unfortunately, with our world, that gets more complicated because the timelines might not even be the same. [Both hands get thrown up in the air.] Point is! You're clearly from some point after where I came from. So...I'm me. From E-1, but I'm not the me from E-1 you've met.
[There's a pause as he considers something else.] ...Do I even wanna know what's going on in Central City right now?
[ Private ]
Oh! Right. Riiiight. You've gotta be before Barry's whole Flash-Time thing. You know, I didn't really understand all that but it was big. Like whoa. Big. Time just-- [ He mimed an implosion then an explosion, complete with sound effects. ]
Don't worry about Central City! It's fine. It's totally fine. There was a monster but it wasn't, this kid, with a thing, you handled it. You, Cisco. With my help, of course. I gave you the ideas. We were a real team.
[ Private ]
A...monster that wasn't? [What?! This guy... He's gonna take some time to get used to. He's so...different from what he's used to with Harrison's. But... well, maybe different wasn't such a bad thing.
There's still something awfully familiar in the way he's trying so hard, like he just needs validation or to be liked. Cisco knows what that feels like. He's spent a large majority of his life like that. He can't help smile at that last bit.] I'm sure we were a great team.
[ Private ]
We are.
[ It's almost a question. Because did Cisco really believe they were? Oh if he did, that's worth everything. ]
You'll see. All of it. When you get there. If you get there. Does being here change anything back there cause that'd make things a much, much bigger...thing.
[ Private ]
So-- [There's a longer than natural pause, like he was stopping himself from saying the wrong thing. Name, maybe.] HR, how long have you been on my Earth anyway?
[ Private ]
[ He will not allow his very short time on Earth 1 to diminish his obvious authority and ability to handle all of this stuff he totally knows everything about. ]
