Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Realizing who exactly he was explaining their traditions to, Alec focused on the lake instead before he said anything too embarrassing. "We're supposed to be stronger together." Letting out an annoyed huff when he didn't hear Jace moving toward shore, he muttered under his breath. "And one of them is usually an idiot and the other has to drag him out of trouble."
Dragging off his jacket, he stalked toward the water. "If you don't come out of there, I'm going in and you are not going to be happy when we're on solid ground."

Dunking his head, he stayed submerged for only a moment before starting in the direction of the voices. There were some places he didn't want his parabatai to follow and this dark place he found himself was one of them.

Before even realized what he was doing, Alec activated his runes for sight and hearing, dropping his stele on top of his jacket. Wading knee deep into the lake, he scanned the water for any sign of the other Shadowhunter. "Jace. I'm not losing you again."

"Were you worried the lady of the lake might pull me under?"
Sarcasm was better than anything else he had left, which wasn't much after being dropped into a lake by someone claiming to be an archangel. He still wasn't sure he believed. The angel he'd met didn't look anything like the guy wearing Mundane clothes.
Getting back to shore wasn't a problem. It was being on dry ground, getting his footing, and feeling like he was being stabbed through the chest all over again that was a problem. But he did what he always did. He tried to hide it.
"Just what I needed. To soak my head in a lake." He complained, pushing wet hair out of his face.

Gabriel swears. "Alec, get back here! If I wanted you in the lake, I would have put you in it!"
Then he folds his arms across his chest to give Jace an even look. "More like concerned you might decide to do something that would get you put in the psyche ward of a Mundane hospital so they could keep an eye on you for a few days."

"You are not Excalibur." His voice was too shaky to carry off their usual game of annoy the parabatai. Sloshing his way toward Jace, he pulled the blond into a hug. It didn't matter that this wasn't his Jace. "Next time listen to me."
Pulling away, he kept an arm around Jace's shoulders before turning toward Gabriel. "Is he possessed?"
