Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

He looked away, gaze skirting the bar the way he'd kept to the outside. Catching the details without having to focus.
"Would I be here for any other reason?"
He missed the real Alec and moments like this. More than he could freely admit even to himself.
"Get out of my head, Alec. I came here to stop thinking."

"Maybe to visit me at work," Alec snarked gently. Jace probably wouldn't have known that he worked at the bar, but it wouldn't have been difficult to figure out a Shadowhunter was there if someone mentioned the runes that Alec didn't cover up when he was working around vampires. Better to have to explain away the marks on his skin than get bespelled by one of the customers.
"I know you've said I'm your conscience but I didn't think you meant it literally." Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair but didn't move away from Jace. "I can't let you start a fight but I can probably leave early and you can kick my ass until you stop thinking."

He closed his eyes and not for the first or last time thought of how much he missed Alec.

It hurt to watch this Jace, seeing someone so similar to his parabatai but knowing that this wasn't the Jace he grew up with. This one was different somehow. More on edge like the boy who had watched his father die. Similar but different. Like the Izzy he was beginning to think of as his sister as much as the teenager back home. "What do I have to do to convince you that I'm really here."

Sarcasm. It's what he's best at. Other than fighting and killing.
"You can't be here. I left you in Idris. You're doing what I failed to do. Now amy I please be allowed to pick a fight. That vampire over there looks like a nice challenge even for me."
He noticed the tall white-eyed guy with bone handled sword looking his way.

Idris? Remembering what Gabriel had said about people being pulled from different times, he tried to think of when Jace would have left him. The first war when Alec had been fighting with Magnus or after Sebastian had been trying to take out all the Shadowhunters? "No you aren't allowed to pick a fight. If you do I'll go with you."
Noticing the vampire with the sword, Alec decided that improvising would probably be the best deterrent for his almost parabatai. "What if I'm real, Jace, and I get hurt because you decided it'd be fun to pick om some kind of vamp we've never fought before?"

"If you're real and you get hurt...I just need...something!" He felt like he was losing his mind and having a conversation with imaginary Alec wasn't helping.

But Jace's answers were strange. Not quite aligning with what Alec would expect from any version of his parabatai. Having the right to ask had never stopped Jace from questioning him about his relationships. Grabbing Jace's arm, he started leading him toward one of the out of the way booths. He could still see what was going on and talk to Jace. "My shift's done soon. Then we can find something to do that doesn't involve us getting beat up."
