Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

The shift in topic does take her a moment to catch up, but Emily nods. "I work for the police force here."
no subject
He nods once. "Then you would know some things. That's good."
Doesn't mean she knows the 'right' things. Doesn't mean she's not a pudding-brain, but it's a start.
"So, any clue why we're actually hear?"
No, he doesn't believe most of the stuff he's heard.
no subject
There is that slight pause. "I can say time is messed up though. I've a friend here that remembers things that hasn't happened to me yet."
no subject
But then she mentions time. He taps the side of his head. "No. Time is fine. You've just been pulled from two different historical points in your universe is all."
He shrugs his answer off a little. "Time Lord, I sense these things."
no subject
How casually he takes that does make Emily pause. It had taken her time to wrap her head around it. And Time Lord. Time Lord... She regards him, a curious expression, although he isn't familiar to her, not that she's exactly kept up with her television. Then again, they had a Jedi, so why not a Time Lord? "I suppose that makes easier sense to you at least. I mean, time goes linear for me. No going back or forward."
no subject
He offers a small little smirk.
"I experienced enough linear time recently."
And here he is stuck somewhere else. He frowns. That's... a discomforting thought.
no subject
"Does it bother you that much? Traveling in a linear line?"
no subject
Because who would?
"Yes. I'm used to having the whole of Time and Space to play in... linear time is... boring."
no subject
"I'm sure that there's enough mysteries here to keep you occupied."
no subject
He reaches into his pocket to pull out his Confession Dial. "Nope. This one right here."
He just shows it long enough to show it and then slides it back into his pocket.
"I hope so... for all our sakes."
A bored Doctor is never a good things.
no subject
"Perhaps you'll even crack the secret of this place."
no subject
Why did that sound familiar. Why? Shrink ray. Shrink. Ray. Nope. Can't parse it out.
"Oh if there's one thing I'm good at it's cracking out of places."
Confession Dial being case in point.
"I've learned the value of patience over the years."
no subject
"Good luck cracking. I can't say it's like any place I've been before."
no subject
But he can't remember where or why.
"Oh, do a lot of inter-universe travelling do you?"
It's almost snarky, but not quite.
no subject
"Oh. I do. Every weekend. Hope on board my ship and zip off across the milky way..." That wry smile. "Only in books and tv."
no subject
He looks her up and down for a moment.
"Human, I gather. Early 21st century?"
Less from looking at her and more from how she speaks.
"Have aliens been accepted by you lot yet?"
Because that would tell him practically everything he needs to know.
no subject
"No. No, they haven't."
no subject
"Not surprised. 'Forgetting' is the human superpower. If you ever get back from this place, you'll probably forget you were ever here."
no subject
no subject
"Hard to say. I tend to remember things most humans forget. Sometimes it just takes me awhile."
Like that one moment in his Dial. He never remembered before he was facing the wall - always after. It was annoying.
"But you're kind of focused on the wrong part of what I said... Unless you don't think there is a way back?"

The Doctor definitely wants to go back. Yesterday. He needs his TARDIS. And he's not going to find her here
