Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!
1. Arrival
Enis. [A nod suggests he'll remember that from here on out.] They've given you gold. You should purchase a meal.
[This could almost be called "kindness". Almost.]
1. Arrival
[That's simply how she saw it though Enis's knows that more information is something worse than having less.]
I will.
[She looks down at the phone that they'd given her, her fingers shaking slightly as she holds it in her hand. She's never had a choice of food and she's unsure what she should eat.]
what would you eat? If you've never had a choice before now?
[Enis meets his gaze, her own crystal blue eyes emotionless.]
1. Arrival
While Quinlan didn't eat, he's worked with countless humans who did, and spending nearly 2000 years working with humans, he knows what she would need, and what she's clearly lacking.]
For you? Meat, something robust.
1. Arrival
I will do that.
[She reaches out with a thought but there is nothing and in that void she feels herself shiver and fall. Her head shakes and she turns back to Quinlan.] Do you have a map?
[Enis isn't used to being lost.]
1. Arrival
He gave her a single nod at her question, but didn't move to offer his own map. It was his, and he'd already made a few notes across its surface. Instead, he turned from the girl, white eyes scanning the crowd at the dock before finding what he was looking for.]
You should have received one when you disembarked, unless you slid by unnoticed. [Which, given her demeanor, he doesn't find surprising. He moves to one of the locals, holding out a gloved hand.] A map. [It was something like a command, but not domineering, and the local blinked up at him before pulling said map, crisp and new, from his satchel. Quinlan nods, his own sign of thanks to the man, and returns to Enis' side, offering her the folded piece of paper.] Your own.
1. Arrival
With the map copied she folds it up and hands it back to Quinlain.]
I didn't say I needed one. I just needed to look at it.
[She doesn't like carrying more than she needs to and she already feels as the phone's are enough.]
1. Arrival
And?
1. Arrival
[She replied softly. She slowly steps around Quinlan and returns the map to the woman passing them out. Before Enis could hear her words of concern she turned and faced the recently met stranger.]
If you have a complete question to ask then do so.
[Enis is going to try and find something to eat. Quinlan is welcome to come with and continue speaking or leave. Enis isn't schooled on interactions with others. She doesn't really know what to do but what she's been told. Human interactions had been unimportant information.]
1. Arrival
You committed the map to memory with a glance. How?
1. Arrival
It's in my memory. I have no need for the map.
1. Arrival
[If seconds had even elapsed.]
1. Arrival
[She isn't actually sure how it works, her own file is locked.]
1. Arrival
Saved?
1. Arrival
I have a computer chip in my head...
[She has no other way to describe it.]
