Welcome to Medietas! Have an interest in joining the game? Maybe you have an old muse that you want to dust off? Or, maybe you're just looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting among friends? Well, whatever the reason, this is where you can do that!
You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!
How To Play:
→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!
→ Tag around!
Possible Scenarios:
1. New Arrival: You've just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon, via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!
2. Getting Settled: So, now that you've arrived and wandered around the starter home you've been given, it's time to check out the rest of the islands. There's a market on Aerilon that is full of treasures. Or, you can check out Chapter Six bookstore. Perhaps you wander over to the Mean Princess facility on Mulciber. There is so much to see!
3. Event: Teams are being put together to venture out deep into the islands of Eurus and Mulciber to track and destroy a vicious beast who has been the reason for the disappearances of several island locals. Please help stop the creature before anyone else goes missing!
4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Now, though...now she was worried.
"What do you intend to do with my secrets, then?"
no subject
He kept the pleasant smile on his face. "Intend... hum... we'll have to see. Probably nothing. But, I suppose back to the original matter at hand, we're no longer on Earth and the Ways to return are blocked, which is quite the impressive feat. There appears to be only a one way in doorway, so to speak."

The likelihood of him just going off by himself and leaving the people here to suffer was fairly high. He was a fear and people here were full of all sorts of interesting fears. Though more of the Wanderer's and Blind King's fears than his own. This was the unknown and they were afraid of dying without anyone at home finding out. Personally he had no ties to these people beyond their secrets and so had no reason to bring them with him - if they could survive the trek through his Ways in the first place.
"Not that he's here."
no subject
And yet, as much as she only tolerated his presence, short of his apprentice, he was perhaps the closest thing she had to a friend outside her circle. Granuaile was much more agreeable, but Atticus had, at least, always kept his promises with her. He may behave like a child, but his word was good, and there wasn't enough of that lately.
"Damn. He wouldn't be, either. Was he ever actually here?"
no subject
People can out run and work their ways out of many things but in the end they all died. People like Atticus might try and avoid death for as long as possible, but in the end they still all died.
"As far as I know, no he hasn't been here. He might be in the future, but as of now, no."
no subject
"No? How disappointing. And here I was hoping to talk with him again."
no subject
"Hm... I do believe having a familiar face to needle is quite comforting."
no subject
"I merely intended to thank him. It truly was quite masterful how he managed to keep our bargain and I am suitably impressed."
no subject
And there was nothing like not taking the high ground. The Thief knew all about that sort of thing having to live with the Fool over the many long years.
"Your bargain?" he asked curiously. One of the annoying things about being the knower of secrets was that if it wasn't a secret he didn't know about it unless someone told him about it.
no subject
"Why, he cleared the vampires from Poland, of course. And it seems they will not be returning for the foreseeable future." And she could see the future, so that was quite some time.
no subject
If his voice came off sounding rather patronizing it was because it was.
Still, that was interesting news. "That is quite the feat. My father would be impressed that someone managed to clear out his creatures from an area for a little while."
Vampires were creatures of the Blind King.
no subject
"I know." At the least she could remind him that he didn't know everything either.
"It wasn't exactly the way I was expecting, however I must commend his problem solving. The peace will last for centuries."
no subject
"Oh. Only a little while. Not so impressive then." What are centuries to a creature like him after all?
no subject
"The effort wasn't quite so immense as I had hoped, but I suppose the results are more what matters."
no subject
A soft snort and a shake of his head, "You can't really ever get rid of something. It always leaves a stain."
no subject
"Oh they aren't gone, they're just no longer permitted in Poland by order of the new...king? I do not believe they call him that but he may as well be."
