"In Baghdad, I am also far from my homelands, though not as far as I am here." She glances around the space, and then her gaze drifts along to the skyline. Skyline, when they are so far above what she presumes is the ground. "My people live on the steppes, not cities, but I've spent years in them." To the point where, last time she went home to a gathering of the clans, she was known as Roshanak Baghdadi - Roshanak, who comes from Baghdad.

"None of them are like this, though. And, it is a pleasure likewise to meet a lady from another place."

Strictly speaking, Roshanak is not a lady. Her people do not really have the concept, but her mother is a blacksmith and of high respect, so she accepts the cultural translation. It eases the way, a lot of the time. But she grew up harder than others who bear that title, and it's that which makes her look at the girl again.

"Are your lodgings to your liking?"

Roshanak can look after herself: not all can.
