Marion is almost side-eyeing the fox. Something about it strikes her as smart. But she tends to think most foxes are very clever creatures. She has seen them take one look at her and carefully make themselves disappear.

"I'm not here to hunt," she says out loud holding up her hands. Different universe different rules, perhaps?
