Well, we are - or rather were - in a period of regency most certainly, but I did not know some might refer to it as an era per se. But that you refer to it as history is a prospect both daunting and hopeful. It means some remnant of humanity has survived despite the unfortunate plague that has befallen England and most of Europe.
