She tells herself just for a second (a second she'll condemn herself for later) that maybe it's surprise and relief on his part that she's here, too. That neither of them were alone in this new douchery of the universe.

And it's not relief, and it drags up a swell of rage in her. Fucking multiverse.
"Yeah-" Jo says a little off keel, without stopping him. Sam Winchester, mountain of a man, with that expression she knows too well. Because she's alive. And Sam Winchester is hugging her. Like. That. Again. Not asking her if she's been here longer, or got a plan, and what she's got is just saying it again. Jo raised a hand to briefly pat his shoulder. "Yeah. It's me."
