Adria | Stargate: S-1

Arrival

She had died, and for a few precious moments Adria had felt perfection. She had felt perfection and had felt the power of her believers flowing through her. She had been ALL powerful and invincible. She had been ascended.

And then it was gone. All of it. She was breathing, her heart was beating and she could feel the cool floor beneath her chilled skin. She was part human again. She wanted to scream in rage, wanted to lash out at anything! The Ancients! They had forsaken their grand ideals and beliefs and had interfered and cast her back into her body! And they had been cruel, oh so cruel. They had left her with her brief memories of being perfect, of being the only Ori in existence.

Pressing her hand against her forehead, Adria, slowly sat up and looked around. They had put her on a boat and that boat was docking. The Ancients really had a lot of nerve. They were sneakier than her brethren had ever suspected. She would make them pay in the end - when she once again reached enlightenment.

Shakily, her nose wrinkled as she pushed to her feet, smoothing the skirt of her dress down. Her gaze once again moving around as she stepped out of the boat. Her hands were trembling but not because she was scared but because she was mad. They hadn't put her anywhere near any of her followers. She couldn't hear one thought of belief. Cruel.

This had to be be one of their insane tests. Well, she'd show them. She'd be patient and she'd be kind and she'd figure out how to get out of... Well wherever this place was, even if it ended up killing her. She wasn't about to let the Ancients win.

"Excuse me--- Do you know where this place is?" she asked the first person she came across, not caring if she was interrupting them.

Party

Adria still wasn't happy, but she'd managed to find the dismal lodging the island was providing for her temporary home. She'd also found a closet full of clothes that resembled some of the things she'd worn back before she'd come to this place. They were smart.

So when she arrived at the party, she was wearing a full length golden colored strapless dress, that seemed to make her skin appear tanner than it truly was. Her hair was twisted up into an elaborate style and her chin was raised just a bit, enough to give her a haughty air. She wasn't quite sure why she'd shown up but she was truly hoping for some answers. Surely someone had to know what was going on.

While she might not look like she's open to conversations, she really is. She just has a resting bitch face at the moment, though could anyone truly blame her for it?
