He wasn't the only one feeling off-kilter. Genesis like parties well enough, but this was a celebration he didn't want dedicated to him and the new arrivals. It only made their predicament worse, in his eyes. But there wasn't much that could be done now. He would find his own answers in due time, he figured. Genesis was patient. For now.

The balcony had been empty, so Genesis, wings spread, landed on the edge and crouched. Of course, his timing was awful as he only noticed at the last minute that someone else had entered to also be away from the noise. His massive black wings folded and a scattering of feathers fell from the hasty motion. He needed to preen those soon. He regarded the other new arrival, blue eyes unnaturally bright in the night time darkness. "My apologies if I frightened you."

Showing off his wings was the last thing he wanted to reveal to anyone in this place but an aerial view had been warranted.
