"I can understand that, too. It just feels too much, too fast, you know? Maybe I'm just being paranoid." He shrugged. He could concede that, even as he would not change his actions, despite doing so.

He extended his hand to her at her welcome. "Well, welcome to the fun, Belle. I guess we're both in for a new adventure." He nodded to her as he looked around.
