Welcome to Medietas! Are you interested in joining the game? Do you have an old muse you want to dust off? Are you looking for a place to voice test a brand new character and would like to do so in our little island setting? Well, you've come to the right place!

You all know what to do but if you don’t, just follow the instructions and HAVE FUN!

How To Play:

→ Comment with the character you’d like to test drive. Don’t forget to add their name and canon in the subject line.
→ Choose a scenario, or start your own!

Possible Scenarios:

1. New Arrival: You have just arrived on the island of Medietas, in the city of Aerilon via a floating boat with people you may or may not know. Of course, you can't help wondering what the heck is going on here, or how you even got on the boat in the first place. But as soon as the vessel docks you are greeted by some lovely locals who offer you a map and a communications device before leaving you to your own. You probably have questions and there seems to be a number of people there already who may or may not have those answers. Talk to them! Or, get on the network and introduce yourself!

2. Getting Settled: So, you've arrived, but now there's five islands you should get yourself acquainted with. Meet your starter home neighbors! Start your new job! Check out the market on Aerilon!

3. Event: The Faire's in town! Feast, socialize, dance, play games! There's plenty to do and the grounds on Mundus are packed with festivities for all to enjoy.

4. Wild Card: Got something else in mind and want to create your own scenario? Go for it!

Arrival:

Gracie looked around her, wide-eyed. She didn't know where she was, there was just a lot of wood around her, and the breeze was blowing her hair. Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry is the mantra that she kept repeating in her head. She clutched her Hello Kitty, who she has named Kitty, close to her, mostly because it smelled like Danno, and Danno was safe.

She hoped he was safe.

Grace was just too smart for someone so young, she was 10 thank you very much. She worried about things that no 10 year old should have to deal with, especially her Dad Danno, he was a trouble magnet. She always trusted that he would find her, so why should now be different?

She bit her lip as she stepped onto the dock. "Excuse me....?" She said to the first person she saw.

My daddy says I shouldn't talk to strangers. He's super smart. [Grace takes a deep breath, smiling a little]

Has anyone seen my Daddy or Uncle Steve?

[ Steve heard the familiar voice on the communicator but dismissed because it just couldn't be. It couldn't be Gracie. She was safe, back home with Danny. Not here with him, wherever here happened to be. But then she asked for him and... ]

Gracie? Gracie, sweetie, is that really you? Where are you?

Uncle Steve! [ Grace is so relieved to finally see someone she knows that she drops her doll, so she disappears off camera to retrieve it. ]

Who else would it be Uncle Steve? I'm not sure..... I got off a boat. Where are you?

[ As Grace disappears from the camera, Steve gets a good look at what's behind her. He recognizes the area, he was just there not all that long ago. Turning around he heads back in that direction. ]

I don't know. I thought my ears and eyes might be playing tricks on me.

[ When he speaks again, it comes in stereo - both from behind her and from her phone. ]

Right behind you.

[ As she turns around he'll drop down on a knee and open his arms to receive her in a hug. ]

[ Grace drops the device on the dock when she turns and sees Steve. Oops. She lunges herself at Steve, knowing that he won't let her fall. ]

Uncle Steve! Is Daddy here? Or is he in the hospital again?

[ And he doesn't. Catching her, his arms wrap around her and he gives her a nice tight squeeze with a bit of a rocking motion to go with it. ]

I can honestly say, Sweetie, that the last time I seen Danno he was perfectly fine. In fact, I was giving him a hug just like I'm giving you right now. I haven't seen him here yet though.

[ Pulling back a little he tries to give her a good looking over. ]

Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?

[She smiled against his neck, feeling better now that she knew someone here. This place wasn't so scary when she knew she had Uncle Steve. ]

Bruises, but the police officer that said Daddy was hurt lied didn't he?

[ Steve frowned, 'Police Officer'? He took note of what she was wearing before he quickly looked around, not that he expected to see an actual police officer but he had to look, had to be sure. A pit formed in his stomach.

Pushing that to the side he gave her a reassuring smile. ]

The last thing I remember before coming here was giving Danno a huge hug. He wasn't hurt then.

What was the last thing you remember? It looks like you were at your Tennis Lesson...

[Grace nodded furiously and seriously. ]

A man came and said Danno was hurt and you and mommy were at the hospital. I thought he was lying, last time you came for me.

[This happens way too much ]

But I thought Police officers weren't supposed to lie Uncle Steve?

They aren't, but this man, he wasn't a police officer. He stole the uniform so that you would think he was.

[ What she describes sounds too much like the incident with Danny's old partner, but that was months ago for him. That's a concerning thought, but not one he wants to deal with right now. ]

You have good instincts. I will always come for you if Danno can't. And if I can't either, then Chin or Kono will.

But that man, he wasn't playing fair deceiving you like that. You're tennis coach told us that you asked all the right questions and did all the right things. I'm proud of you, Kiddo and very happy you're okay.

He likes that you call him that you know? [ Said mostly because she didn't want to deal with the fact that her daddy wasn't here. ]

You're really here? I'm not alone?

[Danny was still trying to figure out what was going on. One minute he was in Hawaii and the next he was in this place, which he wasn't entirely sure where here was.

When he heard the familiar voice over the network, he felt like he was having a heart attack. No. No. That couldn't be his daughter on the network. There was no way that this place dragged his daughter into this mess.

When he heard the young voice call out for him, his heart clenched. Gracie was here. It took every ounce of strength for him not to take off and find his daughter. First, he had to find out where she was.]

Gracie? Monkey? Are you okay? Where are you?

Danno? I'm scared Daddy. Where are we?

I don't know where we are, Monkey but I'm going to find out.

I need you to be brave for me and look around for me, Gracie. Can you tell me what you see?

Did you know boats could fly? Because I didn't. They didn't tell us that at school. [She does as Danno tells her to, and looks around.]

I got off the boats, but I don't know where I'm supposed to go now. He said you would come and get me.

[Danny grinned. He hated that his daughter was here but he would keep her safe. The fact that she was talking about flying boats was a good sign to him.] I didn't know that either Monkey. I still don't believe it even though I've seen it for myself.

[Danny is on the move. He knows where Gracie is and he doesn't stop running until he's on the docks and his daughter is in his line of sight. Coming up to her, he kneels so he's eye level and he's checking her over and he's relieved that he doesn't see any bruises are cuts.]

Are you okay Monkey? Does anything hurt?

[ Grace grinned too, happy that she had made her Daddy smile, even if they were in a strange place. She launches herself at Danno, even though she is bruised and kinda dirty. ]

Danno! My arms, but I'm okay. [She buries her face in his neck, holding on tight. ]

I knew you'd find me. Even though he said you wouldn't.

Nokoru had been fast asleep, basking in the heat of the sun when suddenly... he was awake. There was a young woman who was upset, nearby. Don't ask how he knew, don't ask how this woke him... don't ask how a boy with no athletic skill to speak of made it out of the hammock in that much of a rush without killing himself. Just... don't ask. You really don't want to know.

He gathered flowers swiftly as he went so that when he got to her, the sixth grader got down on one knee, holding up a beautiful bouquet. "A woman as lovely as yourself should have no reason to cry. Tell me how I can help, and I will do all in my power to see the sunny smile I can tell is hiding within you."

And yes, every drop of that honey was sincere.

"Huh?" Grace said, wiping her hands across her face. She promised her daddy that she wouldn't cry, and she really hated breaking her word.

Her Danno also said not to talk to strangers. The last time she did, she ended up locked in an icky, scary room. "I- I don't know where I am, or where my Daddy and Uncle Steve are. Have you seen them?"

"I do not know them, to know if I have seen them, but if they are here, I pledge to use every tool at my disposal to help you find them," he said, still down on one knee. "I swear it, as one of the founding members of the Clamp School Detectives. We do everything we can to help a woman in need."

That said, he stood up and tucked a flower behind her ear. "Alright? Can you tell me what they look like?"

Kubo looked at the girl who had gotten off the boat with him, tucking his plectrum into the belt of his jacket. "Yes?" he asked. He didn't spend much time talking to kids who were about his size. At least, not unless they were an audience. Still, someone was asking for help, perhaps? Maybe his chance to be a hero....?

[ Oh, the phone translates things. Handy. ]

I haven't.

[ Sejougahara doesn't dislike children, per say. She's just... they're weird. ]

Everyone is a stranger here. You'll have to make an exception.
